Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Liked the location very much, great views of Corfe Castle.
The space was great and you can pretty much park wherever you like.
The showers and toilets were clean.
Disliked Most of the site is on a steep hill. The shower was so hot it wasn’t possible to stay under it for more than a few seconds at a time.

Disliked Showers very basic but warm - don't let this put you off!
Busy main road near the site so not great for cycling nearby although lots of routes in the vicinity on quieter roads.

Three giant fields, meaning there was…
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Three giant fields, meaning there was lots of space and it almost felt like wild camping. We liked the proximity to Harman's Cross railway Station. Across the fields it took us approx. 25-30min to walk there.

Excellent site with facilities to match though disappointing view...
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Great facilities, very clean and maintained and well located, only a few minutes from Corfe Castle and slightly further for the rest of the Jurassic Coast. Provided a good starting location for a scenic bike ride too! You can choose where you pitch up on the (huge) field meaning you can be as close or far from others.
Disliked The promotional images feature a stunning view of the Castle and the steam train rolling through the hills... but don't be fooled. This is only seen from the motorhome field, with no facilities, and cannot be seen from the tent field. Quite a disappointment to be honest. The only other thing was there is only cold water from the washing up taps, though the showers are meters away to grab a bucket of warm water.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Great location, plenty of space even though we got nearly the last pitch, very reasonable price to have flushing loos, basins with water and soap, showers and washing up facilities basic but clean and lit at night

Excellent site, perfect for families.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked We spent a wonderful weekend at Purbeck Valley campsite. There were quite a few people but the site is spacious so there's plenty of room between pitches. It is a lovely quite site so perfect for families. The facilities are clean and well maintained - just make sure you showered before sunset as there are no lights! We pitched west facing and could watch that glorious sunsets over the hills. On a clear night there are more stars than we have ever seen before, well worth getting up to watch the shooting stars in August. There's plenty to do within a short drive in every direction, or just relax on site. We really enjoyed our stay and hoping to return again next year.
