What customers say
This spacious, peaceful site offers stunning views, perfect for Corfe Castle & Jurassic Coast. Clean toilets/showers are a plus, though some found washing-up sinks lacking hot water & the terrain hilly. Friendly owners and fire pit/log hire are available.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Gorgeous views
Disliked It was an enormous site with only a handful of campers. The thought of using the showers and bathroom facilities at night with a young child completely freaked me out. It was spooky. I went as a single adult.
I left before it got dark

Great peaceful site
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Lovely quiet site, the site is on a hill with lovely views over towards corfe castle. The bulk of the site is on a hill but still some lovely space to pitch up. We experienced no issues, was peaceful, toilet and shower facilities were lovely and clean.

No frill, great value, great views.
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Good value for the price we paid. Very close to Swanage. Enough space to pitch where you wanted, very peaceful, no barking dogs. Great views of the Purbecks and Corfe Castle. Basic but perfectly adequate shower and toilet facilities. A bit of road noise, but we parked next to road so were expecting this.
Disliked Shower block Karen, from presumably private group in made up tents in the next field, who berated us and another camper for using ‘their’ facilities - despite being told we could use them by the owner upon check-in.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. I am sorry if you experienced issues using the facilities, this should not have happened.
I will definitely be looking into it. Many thanks Linda
Excellent for views and value
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Excellent value for money. Glorious views especially via a short walk for a view of Corfe castle ( the upper field has a castle view but closer to the road so best for campervans and not tents). Large lower field with lots of space. I’d definitely return.
Disliked Only one loo block in the lower field and seemed to be only cold water for handwashing

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Great location, price, very clean & tidy facilities and everything I needed. I felt safe & it was a short walk to a view of the sunset over Corfe Castle.
Disliked Advertised as pitches having a view of Corfe Castle - untrue - the only pitches were the motorhome pitches and glamping fields.
Water in the showers was dangerously too hot - I struggled to rinse the soap out of my hair as was far too painful on my head & hands - scorching. Very dangerous for kids & no caution signage. There is a cold water shower but no happy medium.
