Overpriced and under-serviced.
Electric grass pitch
Liked EHU. Welcome was friendly. Pitch was flat and level.
Disliked Toilets were smelly and the washbasins were outside rather than inside the building. Some of the taps only had hot water - not ideal for brushing teeth. Only one shower in the women’s block - for the whole site. Considering the cost, not very impressed with how close to other campers we were. Felt pretty packed in and overpriced.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely setting and flexible pitches. We were able to choose where to pitch. The owner is kind and helpful. We enjoyed a fire pit (£12 including firefighter and wood) and pizza on site (£12 each). Facilities were clean and central on site.
Disliked Only three showers with curtains and communal changing area. One shower stayed cold.

Loved our stay, more showers are needed and a recycling bin.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Setting, staff, location, services.
Disliked Not enough showers for size of campsite and no recycling bins.

Friendly campsite with basic facilities- you get what you pay for.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The campsite owner is easy going and will accommodate changes if possible. The pitches are generally clean and spaced-out. There is no signal or WiFi so it’s a complete break from technology! It was a last minute booking and I needed to keep costs low so it did what I needed. If you’re looking for onsite entertainment or excellent facilities, this is not the site for you. If you just want a base for your tent/caravan/campervan, this site is perfect. I felt safe so this is always important especially when in a tent.
Disliked The facilities were basic, but offered wha was needed. They were clean enough, but considering they were share, they probably could and should be cleaner. The showers- private showers, but the changing facilities are communal so be prepared to change/dry in front of others. There is a lockable door, but that would others can’t come and use the showers. It’s a shame there aren’t private changing areas. Firepits are £12 per night which seems a bit excessive- I’ve been to other places and rented a fire pit for my duration.
