Swanage Bay View Holiday Park is a static caravan park only, and is unable to take tents or motorhomes.

From Wareham: pass Swanage Middle School on the left. Continue to traffic island at Herston Cross. Swing right through the traffic island complex, bearing left into the High Street and then take the second right into Steer Road. At the top bear left into Wills Road and then left again into Priests Road. Take the next right into Panorama Road and proceed on to the Holiday Park.

From Bournemouth (via Ferry): follow the road through Studland leading into Swanage. Continue along the seafront as far as the clock tower turning right into Victoria Avenue. Follow this road down past Triangle Garage and over the bridge down to the traffic island at Herston Cross. Swing left through the traffic island complex, bearing left into the High Street and then take the second right into Steer Road. At the top bear left into Wills Road and then left again into Priest Road. Take the next right into Panorama Road and proceed on to the Holiday Park.

Local attractions

Miles of glorious sandy beaches, spectacular limestone cliffs and secret coves line the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, while sweeping heathlands and ancient woodlands characterise the inland scenery. The area offers outstanding wildlife interest, from fascinating marine life such as dolphins, to rare birds and reptiles. There is also a plenitude of historical and fun attractions for you to discover.

Swanage has a stunning golden sandy beach and it's just a stroll away from the park. Other beautiful bays and beaches nearby include Studland, Lulworth Cove, Chapman's Pool, Kimmeridge, Sandbanks and Shell Bay.

Durlston Country Park, a large nature reserve, is adjacent to the town of Swanage and is one of the best bird and dolphin watching spots in England. This superb area of coastal grassland has lots of activities for children and offers numerous walks, including a woodland trail. Wareham Forest, the Studland and Godlingston Heath Nature Reserve and the chalk hills of the Dorset Downs are just some of the other beautiful landscapes nearby.

Explore quaint rural villages or bustling seaside resorts. Swanage itself is a town rich in history and architecture, and offers numerous shops and restaurants. Poole and its vibrant harbour with shops and restaurants is a short distance away, as is the market town of Wareham with its architectural interest and beautiful spot on the banks of the River Frome.

Historic attractions nearby include Durlston Castle and the majestic ruin of the 1000-year-old Corfe Castle, which you can travel to via steam train from Swanage. The Blue Pool, a unique lake which constantly changes colour, is another must-see. Visit St Aldhel's Head for spectacular views over the sea, or hop on a boat trip over to Brownsea Island where you will discover 50 acres of pinewood heathland, beaches and wildlife.

Terms and conditions

Please read the park terms and conditions below and the terms and conditions.

Additional terms

1. All reservations and contracts are accepted on the basis that the client accepts the park rules and current booking conditions whether they have read them or not.
2. The park reserves the right to provide equivalent alternative accommodation.
3. The park will send you a further 'confirmation of booking' by email.
4. Large single-sex bookings are only available at the discretion of the Park Manager.
5. All prices include VAT at 20%.


6. Caravan and lodge accommodation will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival. If you intend to arrive after 5pm then please let reception know in advance. Accommodation must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Late arrivals or early departures will not receive a refund for any holiday missed.
7. Touring and tent pitches are available for occupancy at 12pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 11.30am on the day of departure.
8. When hire vans are not vacated by the departure time shown on the contract, we reserve the right to make an extra charge, particularly when cleaning staff are delayed as a result.


9. Dogs are only accepted subject to the following conditions and at the discretion of the Park Managers:
i) If you intend to bring a dog, this must be notified when booking.
ii) A maximum of two dogs per unit will usually be allowed.
iii) When on site, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and if they foul, their owners must clean up after them.
iv) Dogs must be supervised at all times by an adult, they must not be allowed on seats or beds.
v) The owner of the dog must guarantee to pay in full for any damage caused to the units or contents.
vi) Owners must bring a dog basket and/or bedding.
10. Please note that there is a charge per pet, per short break/week. Please check charge amount with your chosen park.


11. Any breakages must be reported and paid for. If breakages have not been reported then we reserve the right to charge for repair or replacement, payable on demand.


12. Unreasonable or threatening behaviour will NOT be tolerated and we reserve the right to refuse entry or expel anyone who is behaving badly and causing upset to other holidaymakers. In such cases we will not provide a refund for holiday days lost.


13. Cleaning materials are not provided. However, a vacuum cleaner will normally be available on request.
14. We reserve the right to enter the accommodation at any time in the event of an emergency, although we will do our best to avoid any unnecessary interruption to your holiday.
15. You are welcome to have guests visit and stay with you (subject to condition 4 above), and all visitors must register on their arrival.
16. We do not accept responsibility for any items that you have left behind. If you think that you have left something behind then please let us know as soon as possible as your accommodation may be occupied by another customer. Items found can only be posted to you when we have received the cost of the postage. Items not claimed within 14 days may be disposed of.
17. Children must not be left unattended in the units. Children must be continuously supervised by an adult who is to be totally responsible for their welfare and behaviour.
18. Anyone staying at or visiting the park does so at their own risk. We will not accept liability for loss or damage to any person or property unless caused by our own negligence but do not exclude or limit any of your legal rights and privileges.
19. We reserve the right to change our details at any time and we also reserve the right to refuse bookings where advertised details are inconsistent. If anything is particularly important to you then please check when booking.
