The name of this site gives you a bit of a clue that it’s very well located for getting out and about – when you stay at Crossways Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite you’ll be within reach of a whole range of excellent days out around Dorset, including beaches, historic towns, rural trails and family-friendly attractions. You may choose to explore on foot, by bike or in the car from here – but there’s another handy option close by, because Moreton railway station is just a couple of minutes’ walk away for easy journeys to places like Dorchester, Wareham, Weymouth, Poole and Bournemouth. Also a couple of minutes’ walk away is the local pub, for tasty meals and refreshing pints after your day of exploring. Back on site, you’ll be staying at a lovely landscaped site where pitches are tucked away in tree-lined groves among 35 acres of lush woodland. A snaking road links the various areas and also leads to the facilities, which include a dog park, a launderette, a chemical disposal point and bathrooms with accessible facilities. There’s also wifi and an information room to help you plan your time out. This site is managed by the Caravan and Motorhome Club, and it’s open to non-members as well as members, with discounted rates for members. The price displayed is the member rate; non-members will need to pay the £15/night extra or buy a £69 membership. Membership is certainly worth considering if you're likely to spend more than four nights at a Club site over the coming year – it brings discounts at more than 140 UK sites, plus other perks including access to tailored caravan/motorhome insurance, discounts on days out and savings on top brands.
