Please note: The directions for this site have been amended since the 2013/14 Sites Directory and Handbook was issued. Crossways Caravan Club Site is an imaginatively landscaped destination set in the midst of 35 acres of lush woodland. Pitching is available in open groves, all of which are linked by a scenic snaking road. This makes for easy access around the caravan site, from the charmingly named Iron Horse Meadows to Poachers Paradise. If you want to leave the car behind for an excursion or if you're simply a rail enthusiast, the railway is a five minute walk away. There is a pleasant pub adjacent to Crossways Caravan Club Site, serving good food. The caravan park is within convenient reach of a wealth of interesting attractions at the nearby town of Weymouth. Also close by is the harbour town of Poole, with its blue flag beaches and Lighthouse Arts Centre, and a short drive from the site brings you to the historic market town of Dorchester. From its glorious beach to the charming shops and wide selection of restaurants, there is something memorable to be had for everyone in the family. Please note that this site has dry composting toilets, shower facilities are located in separate blocks.
