What customers say
This campsite boasts a superb location, with many visitors praising its proximity to the beach and stunning sea views. Facilities are generally described as clean and well-maintained, with particular mentions of the excellent showers and laundry. Easy online check-in and friendly staff are also highlighted. However, some guests noted the distance of facilities from camping fields and occasional noise from fellow campers. The sloping nature of some pitches was also a recurring point.

A lovely site in a scenic location, however, there are some issues
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked The location, staff, pitch size and the local food trucks that visit during the week. The little shop offers lots of choice which is really helpful. The beach is less than a five minute walk and the local pub is delightful.
Disliked The ‘exclusive’ toilets for the hard standing pitches as advertised, are not. Even though you are given a code, everybody uses them from people camping in the neighbouring field, people who pull up in their vans (not staying on the site) and individuals using the local beach. The toilets and showering facilities, even though they are new, are over used and were dirty and blocked at times. This is a real shame.
From what I could see, there is also nothing to stop anyone from entering the site which made me concerned, especially at night. It states you need to enter your registration details to enter the site. However, I didn’t see a barrier and as our pitch was right next to the through road and the washing facilities, you could watch numerous people coming and going that were clearly not staying on the site. This is again a shame, as the site itself is lovely and it is being misused.

No electric pitch you just find a space and set up staff are friendly
Big Berries non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Location to beach was great and a pub nearby
Disliked No showers in the field only toilets, and during busy holiday weekends are not enough as people tend to go in there to clean teeth or change, also not cleaned enough. If you camp on the left hand side as you enter the field you are closest to the showers (near statics) these are great but only 3 in the ladies so alway a queue also the little change rooms have no mirrors so u have to use the mirrors by the sink.

Wonderful location but wouldn’t camp there again.
Big Berries non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Reviewing as a camper only.
Beautiful location with bar/restaurant on water front.
Great for walkers.
Disliked Road to holiday park is single lane with passing places. This road cannot cope with the traffic and is subsequently difficult to navigate.
Whole of campsite is on a hill which makes sleeping difficult.
