Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Lovely small site with well defined pitches that each have their own water and hook up. The facilities were clean and the views were beautiful. Easy for town and the beach. Very friendly welcoming owners. Road noise didn't bother us.
Disliked: Pre arrival communication was heavy on the rules and regulations which made us worry the staff might be a little uptight. Happy to report this was not the case, it was nice to be wrong.

Liked: A great site within easy reach of Bridport, West Bay and the sea. Toilets, showers and washing up facilities are all clean and well maintained. Despite some blunt & less welcoming Comms by email, the site owners are friendly & welcoming. Arrival cake, if you stay a few days, is a lovely touch. Will stay again, Colmers Hill and other walks beckon.
Disliked: If you are sensitive to background noise, the A35 is behind you and traffic noise is present until the early hours.

Liked: Lovely small, scenic site. Very tidy and clean, nice kept pitches overlooking fields with sheep and ducks and chickens. Lovely countryside views. Nice safe walk to Bridport town centre, took us about 15 to 20 minutes with our dog so at strolling pace. But there’s also a bus stop just down the road too.
The 2 toilets and showers are great, kept very clean and perfect for the 8 pitches. There’s also an information shed with some essentials to buy if you’ve forgotten anything
We also were left some slices of cake by the owners which was much appreciated.
It’s a lovely site and we will definitely visit again soon.
Your electric is on a meter so remember your coins. We used about £1.50 over 2 days so definitely lots cheaper than a normal mains hook up.
There is a main road nearby, which you can hear at busy times, but after rush hour, it is hardly noticeable and we slept well each night. And the road gives you the convenience of having Bridport close by.
Also do the riverside walk from Bridport to West Bay, really flat scenic walk.
Disliked: Nothing. Lovely site.

Liked: Great spot with only 8 pitches - all with EHU and on gravel. Very well maintained and the owner is very helpful and friendly. They also have chickens so you can get super fresh eggs which were very tasty.
