The True Lovers Knot is a small campsite within a pretty village setting overlooking fields and the Tarrant Valley. The site is well equipped with facilities including electric points, a campsite shower and toilet, full chemical toilet disposal point, and water and refuse points. It's on a slight slope and welcomes dogs, families and groups.
pub on site serves home-cooked meals with all the meat sourced from within a five-mile radius. There's a large beer garden with play area, and campsite customers get a 15% discount on meals in the pub.
Please note, from April to September the campsite holds a bike night every Thursday. This runs from 6.30pm to 9pm and may cause some noise as the bikes arrive and depart.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children in one booking.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

Take the B3O82 towards Blandford. When you reach Tarrant Keyneston, turn right at the crossroads and the entrance to the car park is the first turning on your left.

The site is centrally set in Dorset, great for exploring nearby sites such as Dorchester, Blandford Forum, Wimborne, Salisbury, Poole and Bournemouth.
If you want to explore further, the site a great base to explore Hardy's Wessex or into the Westcountry in general. It's surrounded by countryside walks, bike riding options and areas for fishing.
The nearest town is Blandford Forum just four miles away and the nearest beach is half an hour's drive away.

If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.
Please note that your deposit is paid to Pitchup.com and is non-refundable.
A 15% non-refundable deposit is payable now.
The remainder is payable on arrival.
If you would like to pay the balance by bank transfer or PayPal then you need to pay before your arrival date. Please contact us using the details in your booking confirmation to arrange this.
