Liked: Super peaceful, big pitch, lovely clean facilities and we got to watch the sheep 🤩 gorgeous views - and also off a (quiet) main road so for anyone who doesn’t like driving in the lanes then this is a breeze to get to.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: A brand new site on the edge of a working farm, usefully located near a main road but out of sight and sound of it with easy access to Dartmoor and the South Devon coast towns. Amenities simple but brilliant, a fantastic rural site with everything you could need plus an amazing view and very warm welcome from the owners Amelia and Tristan. Thanks, looking forward to coming back.

Liked: The facilities are very clean and brand new. Views are amazing. Amelia and Tristan are lovely, very friendly and helpful but they also just leave you to it and we felt that we still had our privacy. 20 - 30 mins drive to either the coast or to Dartmoor National Park - a great location to get the best of both worlds
Disliked: A bit expensive

Liked: Lovely views and easy to find. Site was tidy and clean with good wash facilities. Only a couple minutes off the main road but you can’t hear any traffic, yet still easy to get out and explore the nearby Dartmoor or towns etc. Hosts were very friendly, introduced themselves and offered help if we needed it.

Liked: Amazing camp site. Warmly welcomed on arrival. The site is new and facilities fantastic beautiful shower. Pitch sizes are very generous. The site offers stunning views of the surrounding scenery. Cows can be spotted on the hillside grazing offering the laid back Devon vibe. Totnes only 5 min away offers some hippy chic shopping and great bars and restaurants.

Liked: We visited the campsite during their first month of opening and had a generally good experience. Great location and view. Spacious pitches. Very spacious and clean shower cubicles with plenty of hooks and shelves to put things on. The sheep are friendly.
Disliked: The showers last 5 minutes and then it take 15 minutes to heat up the water again. This is fine when the campsite is not busy but I don't think 2 shower and toilet cubicles will be enough when the campsite is full. The shower cubicles have very big gaps between the walls and the roof, making them very windy and letting the rain in. Only 1 sink for washing up. There doesn't seem to be much to do on or around the site so definitely somewhere you stay for the night and get in the car to explore during the day.
