What customers say
This is a clean, well-maintained site with spacious pitches and excellent, modern facilities, particularly the shower and toilet blocks. Many visitors praise the friendly staff, lovely views, and the on-site cider barn with live music. Some reviews mention that certain pitches can be sloping and may require levellers, and a few guests noted issues with shower water temperature or the limited hours of the on-site shop. Access via narrow country lanes is also a recurring point.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked A lovely quiet site , easy to book in , no stress with electric just plug in , showers lovely & spacious & water temperature perfect .
Disliked A bit difficult to find the site, we printed off directions but missed the road to turn off on the main road so resorted to using google maps which took us down a road unsuitable for caravans but that didn’t bother us as we’re used to narrow roads but it would be helpful if there was a larger road sign on the main road .

Good location to visit Paignton coastline & surrounding areas
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Friendly staff. Able to quickly rectify when the pitch we were allocated was already taken. Facilities in good working order. Lovely weekend bar with live entertainment. Scrumptious cider. Check out Stoke Gabriel Quay - beautiful & serene.
Disliked shame others didn’t appreciate the facilities available to all & decided to damage some on the Saturday - but quickly tidied & back in working order thanks again to the staff.

Liked Accommodating staff.
Disliked Sloping pitch. Some nearby campers were noisy. Ladies toilet block was trashed one night. Lack of security.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback, Jill. We’re pleased to hear that you found our staff accommodating, though we’re sorry that some aspects of your stay didn’t meet expectations.
Regarding the incident in the ladies’ toilet block, we do have CCTV on site and were able to identify the culprits immediately. The facilities were fully cleaned and restored for guests by the following morning.
We also operate a quiet policy from 11pm, and our team monitors the site to keep noise to a minimum. If disturbances occur, we encourage guests to let us know so we can address them promptly.
As for the pitch, not all of our pitches are sloping, and had we known you were unhappy with your allocated spot, we would have gladly moved you to a more suitable one.
We appreciate your comments and hope that, should you visit again, we can provide a smoother experience from start to finish.

Liked Very helpful staff assistance for after hours arrival. Thankyou. 😊
Disliked Lovely surprise to see the pop up food option, but disappointed to see it had cleared up and gone too early for us to participate as we didn’t realise the closing time.
