What customers say
This is a very clean and well-maintained site set in beautiful Devon scenery. Visitors praise the friendly and helpful staff, spacious pitches, and excellent facilities including modern toilets and showers. The on-site cider barn with live music is a popular bonus, especially at weekends. While most find the site peaceful, some mention noise from events. Limited reception hours and a narrow approach road are noted by a few. A designated dog exercise area is appreciated.

Liked Love staying here whenever I'm in the area for paddleboard racing.Always have the paddlers in the same area of the campsite. Friendly owners, fantastic cider, nice walk to the river and a lovely cafe

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Was a very quiet campsite with reception staff being so helpful and even offering the use of the barn for motorcycles during Storm Dave. The shower facilities were very clean and well maintained
Disliked We were put at the far end of the campsite which with the ground being so wet and soft, it made it very hard being heavily loaded up either camping gear and riding across the wet, soft grass to get to our pitch

Would definitely return.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Toilets and showers were immaculate. Pitch was spacious. Clear instructions on how to get there.
Disliked Disabled/ family changing wasn't great for baby for shower as everything on floor got soaked and was a fixed shower head. Ideally a removable shower head would be easier.

Not a site I will be returning to sadly.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Very difficult as I arrived at the beginning of storm Amy in the pitch dark and didn't use any of the facilities because I stayed in my van, only venturing out to walk my dog!!. I had an important meeting to attend otherwise I would have returned home.
Disliked I eventually found my pitch number virtually washed out on the notice board after being shown by another drenched camper who had a torch. My pitch had a stored caravan on it so I parked on the furthest edge and the following day another campervan parked very closely alongside and I couldn't open my drivers door. They were sharing their pitch with another campervan but did offer me their pitch which was much further across the open field!!. There were no staff/owners present at all during my stay and apart from a few other campers there was nobody about.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked We like this campsite as it clean, tidy and organised.
The site is set in beautiful Devon scenery.
There is a designated dog exercise area, which is useful. This area also has dog waste bins.
Good facilities such as toilets, showers, dish washing facilities and laundry facilities
Disliked Some of the pitches are a bit steep but on our recent trip we were on a better pitch with a less of a gradient. Much better.
