Gostou Lovely area with great of the surrounding fields. Very peaceful. Great facilities. Really cool barn area with a bar and live music.

Não gostou The only thing that lets this campsite down was the electric hookup situation. Basically there aren’t enough electric boxes on the site!
We paid for hook up, but ended up not being able to use it. The electric boxes are so spread around. You need a super long cable.
There were also people that were cheekily putting their cables through hedges to reach a box easier. Which seemed a bit harsh. We did manage to move pitches so to be closer to a box and hook up. But we drove out for the evening to get some food, and then when we came back, our electric box was taken by others. It was all a bit annoying!

Gostou The dog exercise area was a game changer for us with our 2 labradors, only downside was the gap at the bottom of the gates meant it wasn't secure. Shop had a good supply of things at reasonable price. There were some benches up by the main reception and the entertainment area was busy and rustic with their cider on sale. The kids definitely liked the ice cream van that came round all the different areas on the saturday night. Location was quiet and peaceful and we were able to watch the cows in the nearby field. We drove down to stoke Gabriel for a walk around and went in the village centre and also down to the waterfront.

Não gostou There was no little info sheet given on arrival with water locations, bin locations, information for the evening entertainment or ice cream van etc. The facilities were just bit too small for the size campsite as the toilets kept blocking, toilet paper kept running out, we had to wait for the shower and footwear was needed in the showers. But it was during the school summer holidays with perfect summer weather. No phone signal at the site.

Gostou It was set in beautiful countryside, got woken up to the sounds of cows and sheep which was lovely.
The staff were amazing, they went above and beyond when we needed help.
We were pleased with the washing facilities, clean and tidy.
We have booked to come back already

Do gerente: I am sorry that you felt the need to give us such a bad review and request a refund for your second night due to someone plugging into the electric point that you had used prior to going out for the day.
If you had phoned us we could have sorted the electric out for you without the need to move pitches as your pitch was not occupied by someone else. This was a situation that could have been easily rectified by us had you told us whilst you was onsite and not through an email or bad review once you had left the site.
Because of this I am not going to offer you a refund for the second night as you have requested in your email.
As for the shop, we receive many compliments on it being a well stocked shop for basic requirements so i am sorry this also didn't meet your expectations.
Our campsite is clearly advertised as being on a farm in the countryside, hence how you had dark skies for stars, so there are many walks around, again had you asked us we could have helped.
