Non-electric gravel and earth campervan pitch (woodland)
Liked Came in a campervan . Absolutely everything about this place is on our tick list ....woods , private , quiet , wildlife ( birds) ... initially one night but we booked a second night within an hour of arriving. Great base for a few trips out over the two days period , just off the main road but not to close ...off to another pitch up site tomorrow

Like wild camping with more convenience and comfort!

We had a wonderful stay. So lovely to be in such a beautiful spot.
Microlodge
Liked Absolutely lovely site. Gorgeous area to walk around and a lovely walk to the near by pub in Rattery through the woods. The pod " Hansel" was lovely and very clean. It was great to have a fire pit - every site had one, so well thought out.
Disliked Sadly our water tap had slugs living in it, so very unhygenic and it left us with a bad taste. We had to get a water carrier and collect water from the next pitch. Luckily noone else was on that pitch, so it was fine.
Also, the showers were not great. I got my ear water logged from the huge gush. They were so high up you couldn't adjust them. I tried the smaller showers but they were just a trickle, which was a shame.
The radiator had been left on on the hottest day of the year so it took a while for ghe pod to cool down.

Liked Friendly staff. Lovely secluded woodland pitches. Great facilities. Loved that every pitch came with its own fire pit at no extra cost. The pub that was in walking distance did exceptional food.

Brilliant staff in a beautiful setting.
Electric optional grass and gravel touring pitch
Liked Loved the pitch size and the surroundings, the staff were all fantastic. The site has such a unique feel to it, it feels private even when busier at the weekends. The facilities are good, the shop has a really good selection of necessities. The communal area was great. We ate in the local pub, which is lovely. This was our second time staying at the site and I'm sure it won't be our last.
