Lovely quiet, clean, dog friendly site. Toilets and shower block
Non-electric grass and earth touring pitch
Liked Lovely quiet, clean, dog friendly site. Toilets and shower block, also very clean (and apparently solar powered 👍🏻). Large pitch for our van and awning so plenty of space between 'campers'. Plenty of space to exercise our dog. Friendly site manager

Excellent site, friendly staff, large level pitches.
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Very well laid out site, pitches mowed and numbered. Facilities very clean, showers were hot and good pressure. Washing up station available (cold water pipe to sink). Helpful and friendly site managers.
Local pub (2 mins drive) does excellent carvery.
Disliked Only small niggles, no cover over washing up area (will get wet if pouring!) and found it quite low to bend down into the sink.

Good sized pitches, quiet and peaceful
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked The pitches were a generous size and the site was quiet and peaceful with nice scenery of the surrounding woodland. The toilet and shower blocks were kept clean.
Disliked It would have made a massive difference to me if there had been a freezer available for coolbox blocks - this is the main reason I dropped a star. My other much smaller gripe is that the two hand basins in the toilet block were so tiny it did not feel that easy to wash your hands very well in them and the washing up sink was outside (no cover) with cold water only. We did not do much cooking on this visit and the weather was pretty good, but I know from other camping trips how much difference it can make having the ability to wash up properly with some shelter from the elements if needed - so essentially if the site had one additional portacabin or outhouse with hot water sinks and a communal freezer for ice blocks, I would probably have given the site 9 stars

Great site for individuals, families and groups. Clean facilities
Non-electric grass and earth tent pitch
Liked Site was small but well laid out so felt really spacious. Pitches are separated by longer grass showing the area that is yours. Toilets and showers were good. Stayed with a group of other families with young children and plenty of space for kids to roam.
Disliked Beware of ticks - the downside of nature and the longer grass around
