What customers say
This campsite offers a remote location with phenomenal views, particularly from higher vantage points, and excellent night skies. Guests enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and basic amenities for a back-to-basics experience. However, some reviews highlighted significant issues with the bunkhouse facilities, including a non-flushing toilet, a non-operational shower, and a collapsed bed. The manager acknowledged these problems, stating they are being addressed, and clarified the accommodation's basic "bunkhouse" nature.

What a fabulous long weekend away!
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Even though the campsite is currently being renovated (we had a heads up in advance) Nicholas, who is an absolute gem that I could talk to for hours, and his two lovely dogs, set us up at the top of a hill looking over the Teign valley.
At such a high vantage point, the views were phenomenal and the night sky was sublime!
There was running water, a basic toilet and a shed shower (which we didn't use but it was available). Everything you need for a back to basics camping weekend!
