What customers say
This campsite boasts lovely views, spacious pitches, and a great welcome. Guests highlight the cleanliness of facilities, including showers and toilets, and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere. The location is considered excellent, with easy walks to Hope Cove and surrounding areas. Some guests found the roads to access the site narrow. A recurring point is the charging system for hot water in showers and washing-up areas, which some found irritating, although others understood the necessity due to the spring water supply.

A great campsite with lovely welcoming owners.
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Amazing views of surrounding landscape and sunsets from the top field.
Great facilities with spotless washrooms. Didn't mind having monet ready to use showers. Nice touch to have free shower gel and hand soap available.
Site shop has everything you'll ever need.
WiFi was a little patchy but you could access it at certain points round site so it actually allowed us some 'phone detox'!

Electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Very lovely site, great host. Clean and tidy.
Disliked Needed to pay for hot water when washing up and showering. Have paid for showers before but not washing up! A little bit odd.
Long way from anywhere, which is perfect if you want that.

Liked loved the setting, suited us as a couple with a dog. We walked the costal paths to Salcombe in one direction and to the dog off lead beach of South Milton in the other. Site was excellently laid out with hedges separating the different areas some quite hilly pitches though. We welcomed our shady pitch as did our dog! Facilities were immaculate. During our stay a pop up Thai van sold food, which was delicious.
Disliked paying 20p for showers due to being told they were on spring water. I was told it was a minimum of 2 x 20p for a shower (written on the instructions i was given) but i could get away with 1 x 20p. I felt the site is already expensive an then having to pay this extra even for washing up was a bit too much. Sadly a car was needed to purchase food as there isn't a local shop within walking distance. Wifi hit and miss especially at peak times of the day

Lovely site, would return. Just bring lots of 20 pences!
Electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Friendly and attentive hosts who want you to have an excellent stay and are very open to feedback. Beautiful setting with great walking on the doorstep. Very useful shop with fresh bread and pastries available to order. Facilities kept pristine.
Disliked Water is supplied from a spring so the owners ration water usage through charging for showers and washing-up. Trouble is that it's difficult to get hot water in the wash-up area without spending 40p a time!

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Friendly atmosphere, stunning location, our plot provision was carefully thought out and allocated providing lots of shade based on the fact we had multiple dogs and a young child.
Excellent facilities available. Would highly recommend and definitely will be returning.

Nice open site not far from beach , but its a very steep hill back
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Beautiful view, friendly staff and wonderful sunset.
Disliked Toilets/ showers were often left in a state .Not the owners fault, people seem happy to leave them dirty .but think maybe a mid morning and a late afternoon clean instead of just one miday clean up might work better .
Shower,s not that many ,and they didnt seem to work all that well all of the time, money put in didnt always mean long shower and sometimes water was only luke warm .
