What customers say
This is a small, peaceful, off-grid campsite offering back-to-basics camping with spectacular views of the countryside and Exeter. Guests praise the friendly and helpful owners, clean facilities (including hot showers and composting toilets which are generally well-received), and convenient location for accessing the city. Fire pits are provided, and eco-friendly aspects are noted. Some visitors mentioned a large electricity pylon on site and the approach road can be steep. Loud music from a neighbouring site was reported but has since been addressed.

Non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Great location (my husband arrived by train). sheltered and flat. All pitches have a lovely view out over fields and city Nice, simple facilities. Friendly owner. Nice small, simple site.
Disliked If you arrive in the dark the entrance isn’t immediately obviously the campsite but sat nav is spot on so when it says you’re there, then you are! And the two farms are the only entrances on that stretch of lane.
