What customers say
This is a small, peaceful campsite with excellent, clean facilities, including hot showers and a communal fridge/freezer. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with natural play areas like hammocks and streams that children particularly enjoy. The site is praised for its good value, friendly owners, and quiet surroundings, though some mention distant road noise and limited phone signal. Recent improvements have addressed issues with shower temperature and the sewage treatment plant.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Excellent all round facility. Spotlessly clean, quite and peaceful, just what I needed after swimming 3k in three different Lido's over a 260 mile drive, with a 3.00am start. I was even lucky enough to hear a couple of Tawny owls calling out to each other, hadn't heard one for several years.
Disliked Nothing.

A family friendly safe campsite.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked I was solo camping and felt very safe here. The facilities were incredibly clean and overall there was a really good vibe. There were hammocks which the children on site enjoyed a lot.
Disliked Would have liked a bit more clarity on check-in as it wasn't crystal clear where I was meant to pitch. Be aware there is limited phone signal on the camping ground.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Quiet site, really friendly. The kids loved the swings and stream. They are begging to go back. The honesty box and fridge freezer were great too!
Im a single mum on my own with two young children and it was my first time going alone. This site was absolutely perfect and put me at ease that I can absolutely continue doing camping trips on my own with my boys 🫶
So much to do locally too with lots of swimming spots.
The only difficulty I had was searching for places on my phone as no internet. However I just pre planned once off site with signal, it was refreshing being able to completely check out from social media!
Disliked Nothing, we loved our stay so much we stayed an extra night!!
