From the manager: Thank You for your lovely 10/10 Review!
We have created the 'Campers Shelter' with all lt's free facilities.. (Phone Charging/WiFi/Microwaves/Kettles/Toaster/Fridges/Freezer) as EHU is not currently available in the camping fields. Everything has been done so that campers really only need a light and maybe a coolbox.
Latest cost appraisal (this year) for EHU to pitches is in the region £30,000. This involves installing cabling across 2 fields (that do not belong to us) - in a 6ft deep trench that we must dig ourselves - on neighbouring land, followed by the on-site installation.
Never say never as we like a challenge but we may have to win the lottery first!

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked This was one of my fave campsites ever and I have stayed in hundreds. Came as a lone female and felt really safe and relaxed the whole time. The owners were so nice and helpful throughout. The toilet and showers were the cleanest I’ve ever had and the showers were great. The indoor area with a microwave, fridge etc was ideal. Would always stay here when in North Devon from now on! It’s a perfect location to beaches, shops, pubs etc. 10/10

The terrible wind and rain we had when you were here has now passed.
Location.. perhaps look at a map when selecting a campsite to make sure it is suitable for your needs?
Accommodation.. You brought your own! - Are you rating your own tent??
WiFi.. Works great in the Campers Kitchen/Lounge, does not reach far from there.
Customer Service.. Its our own home so we live on site and are available 24/7 if you need us.
Facilities/Activities.. All listed on Pitch-up - where you booked.
Hoping your next camping trip- wherever it may be ls more successful for you!

Excellent site with clean facilities and lots of space to pitch
Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Epic campsite very quiet. Owner allowed me to set up where I wanted. Was shown around the campsite showing the fields, showers, toilets, campfire area also the lounge area hub, which included freezers fridge and microwaves. Lots of charging points there as well. The hosts were super friendly and very knowledgeable for the area. Braunton and five min drive, has good number of shops including a good butchers. About a five min drive or 15min walk there is a farm called the spud shack which does an epic Organic milkshake, Also other good produce.
Nearest beach Saunton sands is about a ten min drive and reasonably priced. Saunton dunes ( sandy lane carpark is less than 7 mins drive £2.50/park ) are good place for a walk but be prepared to climb a lot and great for dog walking. Be aware with Woolacombe as parking is really expensive unless your staying for the whole day (£14) if your a NT member then free parking is available just outside Woolacombe.
There is an excellent cycle hire in Braunston which good for the Tarka Trail and reasonably priced as well.
The whole stay was one of the best I have had in N Devon and I will be returning.
Just be aware there is no EHU but plenty of charging points in the hub. This def a secret spot. There is no wifi but I had no problem with mobile data and got 5G with 3 in the top field.

Please note that there is WiFi in the Campers Kitchen/Shelter.
The password is on the wall in the Kitchen section and again in the Lounge section!
Plenty of free sockets for phone/small device charging right there too.
Glad you enjoyed our site and the area.
FYl.. National Trust recently purchased Marine Drive at Woolacombe so if you are a NT member you can now get free parking at Croyde and Woolacombe.
