- Luxury glamping in a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty
- Spotless facilties and a firepit area with cushioned seating
- Onsite treatment cabin with Shiatsu treatments
Now this is a lot of luxury... is a small and secluded site with spacious and fully-equipped bell tents, spotless amenities and a firepit area (with cushioned seating), and all in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in north Cornwall, surrounded by fields with grazing sheep and horses – you might rather fancy the on-site treatment cabin where guests can pay for Shiatsu treatments too.
Settle down here for luxury views: you'll be able to see the Camel Estuary and the Atlantic Ocean from here, as well as views over the surrounding countryside as far as the high peaks on Bodmin Moor and the headlands of the Camel. It's a five-minute drive to the town of Wadebridge and only a couple of miles to Rock and the scenic coastal walk to Polzeath.
The roomy bell tents at Lowarth are fully kitted out and have a woodburning stove as well as a small camping kitchen annex in each (fully kitted out with all you might need; just bring your own food and drink). If you fancy dining alfresco, a table, chairs and a brazier are just outside.
Amenities on site are immaculately maintained and include a modern toilet and shower block with four toilets and two wetroom showers; a kitchen room with dishwashing facilities, two sockets for using hairdryers or charging phones, a microwave and a fridge with freezer compartment and ice blocks for the cool boxes supplied; and a laundry room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
The award-winning Quarryman Pub and Restaurant is a few minutes' walk away.
