What customers say
This peaceful lakeside campsite offers clean, well-maintained wet room facilities and spacious pitches. Guests highlight the excellent location for water sports and scenic walks, along with friendly, helpful staff and a good on-site cafe. While most reviews are highly positive, some mention occasional noise from other campers and infrequent issues with grass cutting or facility access codes. The cleanliness of the facilities.…
Electric grass pitch
Liked The cleanliness of the facilities.
Disliked The marshals talking next to our pitch early in the morning and throwing stones at each other. We didn't know their was a big event on. Would not recommend pitch 1 as it was also used at a walk through for some dog walkers.

Stithians is well worth the visit - you won't be disappointed
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Another excellent stay at Stithians. I can confirm that following my last review in May, the shower issue (water too hot) has now been resolved. As expected, probably just a fault when we last stayed.
On this visit the grass had been cut, which makes life easier, and the pitches are all nicely marked out, so you really can't go wrong. This time we also walked round to the dam, which I highly recommend. We're hoping to walk the entire perimeter next time.
All in all, Stithians ticks all boxes. It's peaceful, has decent facilities, and really isn't far from places such as Falmouth and Redruth.
Disliked There were some noisy people who arrived (you couldn't miss them revving their van), but thankfully as the afternoon went into evening, they quitened down. People need to realise that not every campsite is a hive of activity, and sometimes people come to locations such as this for peace and quiet.

Liked Facilities - Cafe
Disliked Grass was overgrown which just made it difficult as it was a sunny day and wanted to mostly be out on the grass.
Had creepy campers staring at me for the whole 4 hours I stayed there so I decided to leave and not stay the night as I didn't feel comfortable.

Loved the lake view, and had…
Electric grass pitch
Liked Loved the lake view, and had a very welcome breeze across the water during a heatwave. Toilets and showers were really clean, and the site was tidy. Though we didn't use the cafe, it looked lovely, and all the staff were really helpful. Great site position for us to go to Stithians showground to the Fishermans Friends Festival.
Disliked Would have liked to be able to pitch earlier than 14:00, to give us a chance to put up the awning, and enjoy the lake before dinner...
