  • Peaceful family site five miles from Land's End and stunning beaches
  • Play area, dog exercise field and TV room
  • Five minutes' walk from village with shop, pub and post office
Go west… and then west some more, for the highly stunning scenery around lush Land's End and Tower Park Caravans and Camping, in the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Penwith peninsula. Land's End is five miles from this scenic site (John O'Groats is 833 miles, in case you were curious), and it's four miles or about 10 minutes by car to Cornish coast and sands at Porthcurno, an award-winning beach overlooked by the fab Minack Theatre. The also-spectacular Sennen Cove and its famed surf is 10 minutes to the west from here. Closer to home, it's a five-minute stroll from the site to St Buryan village, where there's a pub, a shop and a post office. This is a peaceful and family-run place, among splendid scenery and with plenty of room on accommodation areas and around the site. Facilities include a play area and a TV room, along with well-kept essentials including modern showers and toilets, a launderette and a disabled-access shower room. A small shop and takeaway food are available in high season. Tower Park welcomes dogs and has an exercise field for four-legged guests.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Lovely large campsite with clean facilities and spacious pitches, within walking distance to a shop and pub in near village. Would definitely return.

Disliked Shower cycles could last a little longer once the button has been pressed to save having to repeatedly press it throughout a shower - but this is a minor inconvenience.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Lovely level quiet site with good clean standard of toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities.
We had limited interaction with the staff but those that we did were very friendly and helpful.
Even out of season the fish and chip van visited on Thursday night and served delicious fresh haddock and chips.
It offered a tv room children’s play area and launderette but we didn’t use them during our stay so couldn’t comment
The site is dog friendly with a large dog walking area.
I would recommend this site for anyone, we will certainly be back

Disliked No real dislike, it was exactly what we needed

Electric grass pitch

Liked Very friendly, clean and safe site. Our pitch was right by the lovely playground which our children thoroughly enjoyed and was perfect for us to keep an eye on them. Farm shop down the road, take away pizza from the local pub (only a 10min walk away) and chip van visit to site one evening kept us well fed! Great facilities.

Electric grass pitch

Liked We come here every year, ask to be situated by the park for our children and have always been right by it so the kids can go and play. The pitches are spacious, and it’s a really quiet site, never any noise late at night which is great when you have small children. The shower blocks are clean, laundrette and other facilities handy. They’ve also been very helpful with us in previous stays when we broke down last year and needed to bring an extra vehicle, arriving later or earlier than usual. Great staff, thanks for another lovely stay.

Liked Really enjoyed our stay despite the windy weather! The campsite itself is in a beautiful location. Friendly staff, excellent facilities, clean bathrooms, and well thought-out layout of the campsite: had a feeling of privacy while still being close to the amenities no matter where you were pitched.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Really nice camp site, quiet and friendly. Toilets and shower were all very clean.

Perfect for visiting lands end, nanjizal bay and Surrounding areas.

We kindly asked to be close to play park for our kids and that’s exactly what we got! They put us right opposite the park that was perfect for us. Plenty of space for our camper and tent.

Local attractions

Spend significant time on your west Cornish hol at Porthcurno, the stunning big beach that's rightly famed for its views, fine sands and clean water (if you're a connoisseur of the BBC's Poldark, you may spot that Porthcurno is the body double for Nampara Cove). There are – but of course – spectacular views from the cliffs above, where you can access the South West Coast Path if you're feeling active, or take in a show at the Minack Theatre if not. Porthcurno's also home to the award-winning Telegraph Museum, an interactive and family-focussed place that tells the tale of how the village was once the most connected area on the planet. From Porthcurno, it's about 20 minutes' drive to Penzance, 40 minutes to St Ives and half an hour to famed St Michael's Mount, the tidal island just offshore of the town of Marazion. You'll also be within easy reach of outdoorsy pursuits like surfing, fishing, sailing, kayaking, diving and climbing, and among weeks' worth of wildlife watching and birdwatching: dolphins, basking sharks, seals, leatherback turtles, Cornish choughs and peregrine falcons are among the many species to see.
