  • Pitches across 27 acres of parkland in Cornwall
  • Within walking distance of St Merryn; a couple miles from beaches
  • Well-stocked licensed shop and a bar-café on site
'Seven Bays for Seven Days' is the tempting proposition at Atlantic Bays Holiday Park near Padstow. Whether you’re into surfing, rockpooling or sandcastles, there is a good choice of beaches within a few miles of this peaceful, green site. The pitches are spread across 27 acres of parkland, and handily, all the necessities in life are taken care of via a modern amenities block complete with hairdryers and ironing boards, a laundry room and a well-stocked licensed shop. When the kids aren't at the beach, they should love burning off some energy in the on-site play area. Atlantic Bays Holiday Park is also just a mile from the village of St Merryn, where there are two pubs, a fish and chips shop, Chinese and Indian takeaways, a local bakery and shops. There are seven different beaches within a short drive of the site, including Treyarnon Bay and Porthcothan beach (both 10 minutes' drive away). The on-site Conservatory Bar and Café dishes up homemade food. On the decking area, unwind with a local drink – perhaps a glass of wine from one of the local vineyards.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked Lovely maintained site, shower and toilet 🚻 block was clean and always hot running water.
Staff always friendly and helpful.
Dog friendly.

Disliked Shame there's no on site restaurant , the popup food guy is only there on certain days. Kids always playing in and around the toilet & shower block, also states in welcome pack no ballgames on the touring pitches but there was kids kicking footballs all over the pitches.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked We enjoyed our stay at Atlantic Bay as it was rather quiet, which is important as we travelled with our small child. The playground was about 7 minutes walk from our tent but behind buildings and wasn’t causing any disturbance at all.
At a cost of 20p you can use some facilities such as hair dryer which was great. There were other facilities like ironing, washing machines. A large fridge freezer available to store some items and freeze your blocks came in handy. Shared facilities were cleaned daily. Beautiful location to watch the sun setting. It felt safe, nice relaxed atmosphere. Within a 7 minutes drive to the nearest beach, and multiple others within the 30 min drive. Great location with plenty to see and do nearby with children.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked Facilities were clean, staff that we did see were friendly.
Campsite was quiet and spaced out.

Disliked Check-in map was out of date. Nearest toilet block was closed for refurb but the next closest toilets were not marked on the map provided. There were pitches available near this toilet block which would have been more suitable as it was a considerable walk to the facilities.
The fresh water tap nearest our pitch was not working.
Reception was closed even during its stated opening hours. Could not find any staff, only an emergency number provided which was not ideal for a non emergency query.
We provided our reg plates prior to arrival however these were not programmed into the camera system so arriving after 4pm meant we could not get in, luckily the warden took note and let us in.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Flat well spaced pitches, great location for all the beaches, useful little shop. Clean facilities. Great friendly and helpful site warden and his wife, lovely to chat to.

Disliked Be nice to have an area specific for dog walking. 15s for each press on the shower button way too short!
