  • Pitches across 27 acres of parkland in Cornwall
  • Within walking distance of St Merryn; a couple miles from beaches
  • Well-stocked licensed shop and a bar-café on site
'Seven Bays for Seven Days' is the tempting proposition at Atlantic Bays Holiday Park near Padstow. Whether you’re into surfing, rockpooling or sandcastles, there is a good choice of beaches within a few miles of this peaceful, green site. The pitches are spread across 27 acres of parkland, and handily, all the necessities in life are taken care of via a modern amenities block complete with hairdryers and ironing boards, a laundry room and a well-stocked licensed shop. When the kids aren't at the beach, they should love burning off some energy in the on-site play area. Atlantic Bays Holiday Park is also just a mile from the village of St Merryn, where there are two pubs, a fish and chips shop, Chinese and Indian takeaways, a local bakery and shops. There are seven different beaches within a short drive of the site, including Treyarnon Bay and Porthcothan beach (both 10 minutes' drive away). The on-site Conservatory Bar and Café dishes up homemade food. On the decking area, unwind with a local drink – perhaps a glass of wine from one of the local vineyards.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Large flat site well within reach of beaches etc, when we stayed none of the park’s amenities were open, so can’t comment on them.

Disliked Nothing open on site! Not even the shop. To many side door vans with the normal noisy door slamming.

Liked The location. It was absolutely beautiful. The people were really friendly. The showers, well the men's, were clean and hot.

Disliked So...
The electricity was down whilst we were there. Not their fault i know, but no sense of urgency to put it right. As a result we couldn't wash clothes. Despite being new years eve as part of our stay, there was no entertainment despite it being advertised as such and when i asked there was a lame excuse as to why it wasnt on. The shop had virtually nothing in it unless you wanted a bbq or toilet cleaner with some cereals. There were bare wires in the disabled toilet because the females in my party were told the womens were not very warm abd should use them. The bins were overflowing. And the wifi just would not work and they couldnt help because they didnt run it. When i rang the people who did they couldnt either.

From the manager: Hello we are so sorry you were unhappy. Unfortunately due to the extreme cold weather we suffered power problems due to the number of vans on site using heating at the same time ( several local parks experienced the same issues that night). We are looking into future measures to help prevent this happening again .

With regard to entertainment we have made it clear to all guest booking that the seasonal bar on site is closed until Easter but there is a fab bar on the park 5 minutes walk away who served food, drink and had live music and has a pre arranged New Year’s Eve party that everyone is welcome to use.

The shop unfortunately is a seasonal shop.
WiFi is controlled by external provider and maybe the power outage did not help with this issue as we also lost power in the office and the laundry as they are all connected something we plan to separate this year following this incident.

Bins are emptied weekly due today and we have had extra usage of this over the past week due to Christmas.

We are pleased you liked the very clean facilities and our lovely welcoming staff.
Have a lovely new year.

Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Was a lovely quiet site, clean toilets and showers blocks.
Not far from beautiful beaches, walks, shopping etc

Disliked Would have been ideal if they opened the bar even for an hour in the evenings.
The office was shut for the whole week we were there. We couldn’t use the laundry room because office was shut so couldn’t get tokens. There isn’t anything on this site for childrens entertainment wise. No football etc

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Site was clean and tidy. Easy to find and although the office was closed when I arrived, my details were in a box on the wall for me to advise what pitch I was on and all other details I would need.

Disliked The option of wifi through another provider wasn't a negative but the only options were to purchase it for one week or a month. When staying for one night I do not want to pay for a week.
