Electric grass pitch (comfort)

Liked There was so much to do for kids, we was in a great pitching spot, weather was great, good entertainment.

Disliked Toilets block/showers could do with updating, maybe more choice of food places, swimming area would be even more brilliant if it had slides for the kids?

Liked It was our first time camping and visiting Cornwall and Monkey Tree holiday park. As a family of 5 we loved every minute of our stay the kids loved the entertainment in the evenings we especially enjoyed the silent disco 💃🏻🕺🏻 The pool was always the best part of the day and a way to get the kids a little tired during the day, best part of the pool was it was heated when there was an overcast so my kids never complained about it being cold. We had a few days were visited different places like the Eden project which was just over 30 mins drive so monkey tree was near to alot of attractions. Honestly we have already recommended Monkey Tree to friends and family with small children and they are gutted they can't get a booking for this year, but I'm sure they will book for next year.

Liked The park is very clean and tidy, large pitch, toilet and shower blocks very clean and all the staff are very welcoming. The entertainment was great especially the silent disco and the outdoor pool area was amazing.

Disliked The pizzas were frozen rather than freshly made and the chip shop fish was full of grease.

Local attractions

Cornwall’s coastline and beaches are pretty much legendary, but Newquay (10 minutes) is world-famed for its surf and nightlife too. It’s a party town from daybreak until well after dark and the surf's so good they hold international competitions here – check out Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay. Perranporth (10 minutes) is the place to head for a more relaxed beach day, though it’s very popular so best to get your towel down early. The beach here is a fab spot for dog walking, rolling up the trousers for a paddle or lazing around and copping a look at the views. The Eden Project (35 minutes) has the UK’s most realistic rainforest, full of rare plant species and exotic butterflies, as well as a pretty nifty Mediterranean biome. Daredevils can also have a go on England’s longest zipwires here.
