Local attractions

Our holiday cottages on the north Cornwall coast are the ideal location for exploring some of Cornwall’s most cherished locations. The wildly beautiful landscapes and rugged cliff walks are worth a visit in itself, along with the 70 miles of soft golden sandy beaches. You will find the small seaside resort of Perranporth just 10 minutes away from the cottages, giving you plenty of choice when planning a great day out. Lounge on the long stretch of beach, get wet and wild with a surf lesson, or take a visit to the golf course with amazing views across the bay. If you get a little peckish then head for a bite to eat at ‘The Watering Hole’ a popular restaurant actually situated right on the beach! Take a visit to the famous surfing town of Newquay and experience the exciting atmosphere where surfers and holiday makers combine, with many top class eateries, vibrant nightlife and eight beaches within walking distance from the town centre. There's lots of family attractions in the area too including a trip to Newquay Zoo where you can meet the lions, penguins and monkeys, you will be spoilt for choice on where to spend your days.
