‘We’re all going on a summer holiday…’ And a spring, autumn and, er, winter one too… At Tencreek Holiday Park, the nearest park to lovely Looe in Cornwall, you and the family can arrive in all seasons as a base for the best of south-east Cornwall and Devon, or just stay on site to spoil yourselves silly with the lashings of facilities and entertainment for all ages. And the views are pretty tenfastic too… Tencreek is aimed at families and couples, and as such has any number of tiptop things to try: a kids’ club just for starters, and an adventure playground and sports pitch for small sorts to whirl around outside. More grownuply, the park also has the Castaway entertainment complex with large cabaret room, bar, Deano’s Diner and indoor sports room with darts and pool; there's also family entertainment every night from the Yellow Coats and Tencreek mascots. Don’t forget the dog either: the park is dog friendly and has a dog walking area with access to the public footpath. If it rains, the kids won’t even notice once you get them to the heated indoor pool and toddlers’ pool, which are also open all year and free to use (there are classes such as Aquafit and kids’ swimming lessons available at a small additional charge). The thoughtful folk at Tencreek have ensured that the pool is always lifeguarded, and there are even adults-only sessions at times, if you can manage to get the kids dried off and packed off for a bit… The park also has a fully-stocked food shop, a café with takeaway and a modern laundry.

This is a clean and friendly site with spacious pitches and lovely views. Facilities, including toilets and showers, are generally well-maintained and spotless. The on-site shop is well-stocked and reasonably priced. Many guests enjoyed the swimming pool and entertainment. Location is excellent for exploring Looe and Polperro via coastal paths, though return walks can be steep. Some found pitches sloped and noted seasonal pitches could be messy. WiFi is paid for.

Liked Entertainment at night for the kids was great especially the wizard off oz show . The lion and the wicked witch were excellent actors

Disliked The shower block was horrendous, no pressure in the water,took ages to watch the shampoo from my hair felt like I was in an old sports shower block, the grounds felt dirty,

Liked Very clean complex with great amenities for all. Short walk to toilet/shower which was a bonus too.
The Wizard of Oz show which was put on by the team was absolutely fabulous ~ well done guys!

Liked Evening entertainment was good for the kids and bingo was also good. Also the food was ordered and delivered to our table in quick time.
Facilities for men was nice and clean too

Disliked Female toilets by our pitch (227) were not up to standard. Numerous women were heard complaining about them

Liked The campsite was really well located and for the price they provide a lot of facilities. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the camping pitch was well sized.
The kids enjoyed the disco and play park. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning again.

Disliked The pool wasn’t the cleanest and some facilities had a lot of equipment out of order. The food was also a bit hit or miss in terms of quality.

Liked Tencreek is amazing because the staff are friendly, the other campers are also friendly and respectful of eachother. I have been 3 times now with my 3 children aged 5,5 and 14. The showers are clean, the toilets are clean, the shower block is warm and well lit all night. The whole place feels so safe and comfortable. Tencreek is very clean and completely the opposite of how I viewed camping at first, as the last time I camped was in the 80's and really in those times places like Tencreek didnt exist so my previous experience was extremely basic. I had an idea in my mind that camping would still be cold, wet and miserable however after having 2 sons who begged me to take them I gave it a try and decided on tencreek as I have family in Cornwall. We have been hooked ever since and tencreek changed my whole outlook on camping. My biggest "like" of tencreek is the respect everyone has, the camp areas become quiet after dark as families have children and people seem to understand that. There is a great entertainment venue however if quiet is not your thing. For my children their favourite place was the pool and then once swimming was done my 5 year old twins would not stop asking what time can we go to the junior disco which was daily. The food was lovely and I was grateful that the kids we so involved in the children's activities on the dance floor that I actually had some time to sit and watch them from my table. The layout of the events space was perfect as the dance space can be seen from pretty much every table so children had the freedom to have fun safely while the adults could watch on. My children are already asking when we are going camping at twncreek again.... we only left this morning lol

Disliked Our stay was only 3 nights and I wanted to stay longer.... the duration was my doing as I had to return back to work but the shortness of our trip was the only thing I disliked

Oodles of activities and attractions await once you’ve dragged yourself off site: pootle around Looe’s Harbour Quay, Banjo Pier and the 16th-century Old Guildhall in East Looe, or take a boat to Looe (St George’s) Island, where just once a year on a very low tide it’s possible to stroll to it across the sand. Sea-based sightseers can go from Looe to Fowey and take the ferry to Polruan or Bodinnick and the former house of Daphne du Maurier (Daphne and Rebecca fans can also go ghost hunting at Cornwall’s legendary coaching house at Bodmin Moor, said to be the county’s most famous smuggling inn). Most day trippers take a car for the 12-mile Looe-Fowey journey, but if you’re feeling energetic enough and want to see some stunning coastal scenery, the local South West Coast Path hike goes from West Looe to Polruan via Hannafore, Talland Bay and Polperro.
