What customers say
This is a quiet, friendly, and well-maintained small campsite, praised for its welcoming owners and peaceful atmosphere. Guests appreciated the flat pitches and good WiFi. However, the access road is consistently described as extremely narrow, making it challenging for caravans and larger vehicles, though suitable for tents and motorhomes. Basic facilities are mentioned, with some guests suggesting updates and hot water provision for washing up.

Fine for one night.....
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked -Small, level pitches
-Friendly site manager who couldn't do enough
It was fine for us in a van as it was only a stop off on our way home.
Disliked -Only 1 toilet outside and it was pretty grubby (could be an issue if there's more than a couple campers on site)
-Only 1 washing up area, with a COLD water tap!!
-Shower is inside a house where all the rooms are individually rented out, which was really strange!
-Permanent 'vanlifers' living on the site in a lorry, cabin etc. It would feel nicer if the campsite was hedged off and private from them and the bungalow. Too many individuals coming & going.
-Holiday makers renting the rooms using the campsite field as a sunbathing spot.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely open space with access to facilities to get by. This was my first time camping and had a great time!
Shout out to Tony (I think his name was) and Emma who were staying on the site! They were welcoming and made the effort keeping the kids entertained by playing football with them and cheering our baby on when he took steps! We will definitely be back here! Brill price for what we wanted!

Nice but virtually inaccessible
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely peaceful location, friendly welcome
Disliked This site - or rather the roads to it - are not suited to anything bigger than a Campervan. The first signposted turning to the site - in the village of Altarnun - is impossible. It’s a steep and narrow hill with a house on a right angle bend. We turned in and realised that we wouldn’t make it up and round, so backed out onto the main road. A passing driver told us a lorry had recently been wedged on the bend for two days, and offered to show us the other entrance. We followed her for a few miles down lanes that were barely any wider than our van. The site has a sign pointing up that very tight hill - it’s extremely misleading and should clearly state nothing bigger than a car.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Nice and flat grass cut short, very quiet and well placed for visiting the area.
Disliked The roads going to site, not suitable for larger caravans.
The facilities.
Wouldn't return purely because of access roads.

This is a great little campsite,…
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked This is a great little campsite, there was no one else there apart from my family who had booked under separate slots. The ones who live there were very friendly and didn’t have a worry about where we had set up. The WiFi worked really well for my children to connect and relax when needed to on electrical devices. I would definitely stay here again.
Disliked The road that it takes you can be tight for a larger vehicle but found it go around, the road it easier to traverse.

Nice site and would camp here again.
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Very nice quiet camp site, very friendly owners.
Disliked Not a big dislike but the toilet/ shower facilities are very basic and could do with a bit of modernising. And no hot water to do washing up unless you can get in the owners kitchen, which I’m sure wouldn’t be a practical thing if the camp site was full.
