Liked Absolutely nothing in the end.

Disliked Unfortunately, our experience at The Travellers Rest was extremely disappointing. We booked for 14th–21st August, but after arriving we found that there were no usable shower facilities. The only shower that was made available to us was covered in pubic hair and was completely unhygienic and unusable. For a campsite stay, having access to clean, usable washing facilities should be a basic expectation. Because of this, we made the difficult decision to pack everything back up and leave on 15th August. It is such a shame because we were really looking forward to our stay, but the lack of facilities, hygiene issues and the way the situation was handled completely ruined the experience for us. Sadly, based on our experience, we would not return or recommend this campsite.
