What customers say
This is a rustic, back-to-basics campsite with a peaceful atmosphere and generous pitches. Guests frequently praise the friendly staff, farm animals, and proximity to beaches and coastal walks. While some recent reviews highlight ongoing improvements to shower and toilet facilities, earlier feedback noted cleanliness concerns. The site is considered budget-friendly and a good option for those seeking a relaxed, rural getaway. Occasional issues with farm animals, particularly geese, have been reported.

Liked Zero
Disliked We were really disappointed and didn’t actually stay,
I understand the vision behind it and it could be beautiful,
but everything is dated, rotted and dirty.
Flies surrounding unemptied bins. How someone hasn’t fallen through the decking outside the showers is just short of a miracle.
Very sad as we were really looking forward to our stay but as stated above we left and didn’t use our slot

Very welcoming hosts
Just spent a couple of weekends there
They have some great local bands in the beer garden, which is great in the brilliant weather we have had.
We only live 20 miles away so easily reached
Great beaches near by and Cadgwith just down the road

A hidden gem and absolute bargain
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked Booked 3 nights camping with my teenage daughter and enjoyed ourselves so much we added on an extra night to our trip. We are seasoned campers and would have to say this has been our best trip yet. The camping field was exactly what we wanted - spacious, peaceful and nobody "on top" of you- it felt like we were wild camping! (we stayed May half term so can imagine it gets busier in summer). The animals were a huge bonus and we had a lovely meal in the on site bar on our last night. Showers were hot and toilet block was well maintained and cleaned each day. Obviously mud/ grass gets everywhere in the facilities but as long as campers are conscientious and clean up after themselves as best they can it's fine...it's camping after all so not sure what other reviewers expect..! It is walkable to the beach so if you wanted to leave the car on the pitch you can, we also explored the Lizard with everywhere within a short drive.
Disliked nothing

Liked This was a lovely little spot. We enjoyed it so much, we asked if we could stay another night. We had two days here, shower facilities and washing up were perfect for what we needed. Would recommend as nearby there was a lovely walk to the beach and lots to do in the nearby area.
