  • On the Lizard Peninsula with a huge range of family facilities
  • Indoor and outdoor heated pools; pirate-themed crazy golf; soft play
  • Activities including evening entertainment, family films, kids' clubs
Smugglers’ coves, gorgeous beaches, fishing ports and colourful market towns await you at this park on the Lizard Peninsula. Lizard Point Holiday Park (formerly known as Mullion Holiday Park) is a firmly family-friendly site, so there's a great selection of facilities, including heated outdoor (open from May to mid-September) and indoor pools (where visitors can also book in for PADI diving lessons), a plethora of sporting activities, modern bars and restaurants, and all-singing, all-dancing action in the entertainment club. The littlies will have a ball in the pools (and slides, chutes and tunnels) of the Crazy Caves soft play area, and the pirate-themed crazy golf course and outdoor adventure playground should provide gallons of giggles too. A kids' library, family film screenings and the assortment of goings on at the various kids’ clubs means there’s plenty to keep them occupied whatever the weather (although the Lizard is the most southerly point in the UK, so if it’s going to turn out nice anywhere, it should be here).

What customers say

This park offers a great location for exploring the coast with friendly, helpful staff and good on-site facilities, particularly for children. However, many reviews highlight concerns about the cleanliness and condition of the toilet and shower blocks, with some describing them as tired, dirty, or in need of updating. Pitch availability and clarity also received mixed feedback.

Croft fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked Staff very friendly

Disliked I booked in a rush and didn’t realise it was a Parkdean Holiday Park. Not really our campsite vibe. Quite commercialised.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked It was a great spot and near to all the facilities, everyone was polite and helpful. We would definitely camp there again.

Disliked The showers could run very hot at times, too hot and it would be nice if you didn't have to keep holding onto the tap to keep the water flowing.

Liked Erm…

Disliked Benidorm for caravans. Wallet stolen from the table we were sat at never to be seen again, millions of sugar high kids with zero manners (blame the parents not the kids) and generally a filthy place. Wouldn’t even dream about going back here.

Electric grass pitch

Liked The barrier went up so we could drive away.

Disliked Loud, chavridden, overcrowded, unsupervised children gambling and screeching. That was just on arrival. Found security to get pitch allocation for camping and found my pitch between 2 encampments. Noise, dogs, music blaring, football being played. I couldnt stay. Have lost money as they refused to give even a partial refund. Do not recommend.

Emma B. 1 review

Electric grass pitch

Liked The staff were very kind, even let me borrow a phone charger from reception. The man at the arcade was sooo kind, my kids loved him was very helpful.

Disliked The main attraction for us was the outdoor pool, so we travelled 3 hours to Lizard park to be told its shut, and it only opens one day a week - which is saturday! Absolutely ridiculous. The indoor pool was pathetic and tiny, probably the worse pool ive ever seen. The drinks at the clubhouse are overpriced £7 a pint. All the activities you had to pay extra for. The toilets and shower block very outdated, and the showers were BOILING hot, my little one was crying trying to shower. After one day we were bored not much to do at all, will not be returning. Poor signal and WiFi very poor also

Local attractions

The scenery around the park is stunning – not for nothing has the Lizard been given an official stamp as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – which makes for some spectacular clifftop walks. It's not far from Land's End or the rather lovely St Michael’s Mount either. The local Blue Flag beaches offer a good range of watersports, including kitesurfing and sea kayaking. Serious thrill seekers should check out the adventure centre at Lusty Glaze beach, where they can test their mettle with water, land and cliff activities. Many of Cornwall’s top family attractions are found nearby: potter among the plant life under the giant domes of the Eden Project, or head to Newquay Zoo or the Cornish Seal Sanctuary in the Helford Estuary for some close encounters of the animal kind. There are also animals at Crealy Theme Park, along with all sorts of shows and rides (including indoor options – handy for a damp day). If you’d like to uncover a bit more of the heritage of this Cornish corner, pay a visit to the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth.
