What customers say
This "pop-up" campsite offers a peaceful rural setting with a fantastic location, a short walk to Fowey town and Readymoney Cove via a lovely woodland path. The owner is consistently praised for being friendly and helpful. Facilities are basic but generally functional, with the outdoor shower being a highlight for many. Guests appreciate the spacious pitches and quiet atmosphere, though some mention the site can be sloping. Newer reviews from July/August 2025 onwards indicate improvements, including new toilet facilities and better overall cleanliness, addressing earlier concerns about portaloos.

Liked Large field so plenty of room. Lovely and peaceful and a great location with a lovely woodland walk to Fowey and Readymoney Cove. Jon the owner was friendly and helpful with lots of info on the local area. Also a fantastic help jump starting our van due to a flat battery when we left 😂 We will definitely return 😊

Nothing…
Non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Nothing
Disliked All of it , drove in , turned round and drove out . Looked like someone had dropped a passport photo booth in the field and turned into the toilet /shiwer after breaking the gate open onto someone’s land .

From the manager: Martin you were told to leave Lambs Barn Camping, you are not the type of person who would be welcome here in our family environment! I have informed all relevant people that you are touring our beautiful county, of Cornwall.

Perfect back to basic family campsite.
Non-electric grass campervan or tent pitch
Liked Friendly pop up campsite.
John the owner/warden was very friendly and offered great advice on the local amenities.
The cove is a very short walk down the hill, Fowey 10 minutes walk further and the kids loved the adventure walk through the woods back to the site.
The outdoor shower was amazing, we were a party of six and every one of us loved it.
The toilets and Elsan point are located just across the path and served our needs perfectly.
Fresh water point just as you enter the site.
This is a back to basic but wonderful campsite that we highly recommend and will be back.
