Many folk who come to Cornwall seek a base for its north and south. And secluded is often an option too, given how popular the place is in the summer months. Add both those wants to splendid surroundings, a view over a grand valley, and the peace of the Cornish countryside… and you get Menallack Farm Caravan and Camping Site. The owners rightfully point out that this is a very pretty part of Cornwall – and the site's rightly pretty too, set over two scenic acres with a nature walk down its valley, through Bluebell Wood and to a stream at the valley's bottom. Firepits are available near the pitching field and in the woods. There are also showers, toilets and a washing-up area. It's only two and a half miles from here to both Trebah Gardens and Glendurgan Gardens, three miles from the nearest beach, and within easy day trip distance of most towns, resorts and attractions on the north and south Cornish coasts. A farm shop two miles away from Menallack Farm stocks a good range of local fruit and veg, free-range meat and poultry, bread, Cornish milk, butter and cream, homemade pasties, pies, cakes and quite a bit more. Beyond that, Falmouth is four miles away for supermarkets and the like.

Liked Big campsite, mostly full in high season. Nice play area for the kids. No reception, you have to call to find out which pitch is yours. Nice view

Liked Great place: showers and toilets very well maintained, cleaned and stocked up. The location of the pitch was perfect, in the sun and we had our own bench too. The location of the camper site was perfect. Will 100% be back!

Disliked The pitch numbering in the "electric field” could be done as we found it hard locating our pitch (even with the map at the front). No phone signal

Prestige 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked Dog walk was very nice

Disliked The static had bits falling off of it, the strips on the wall of the main bedroom, the mattress on the bed was so lumpy you could get hold of the lumps, fortunately I always travel with my own mattress topper otherwise we couldn’t have stayed. We had to ask for glasses as there was only one tumbler. Fridge was barely keeping things cold. Shower was very stained and univiting. Very little kitchen equipment, one serving dish. The whole site is very run down with abandoned greenhouses and sheds . Not good instructions on how to get there.

Liked Nawet nie wiem od czego zacząć. Opisuje tylko domek , co do przyczep i karawanów nie wiem jakie ma wyposazenie . Jak dotąd najlepsze miejsce na wypoczynek w jakim byliśmy . Lokalizacja Super ( jak dla nas) wszędzie w miarę blisko . Miejsce spokojne przyjazne jak i najmłodszym jak i najstarszych . Mieliśmy rezerwację w jednym z 2 drewnianych domków. Jest tam wszystko czego trzeba. W domku mała kuchenka i parę niezbędny nauczyć i garnków, jak trzeba to i obiad mozna ugotować. Nie trzeba brać ze sobą żadnego grila bo wszystko jest przed domem, palenisko na ognisko i grill przenośny. Łóżka w miarę wygodne , nie oczekiwaliśmy luksów, zależy kto co lubi. Są dodatkowe koce więc nawet jak pobyt zapowiada sie chłodniejszy to nie powinno wam być zimno. Zabraliśmy mnóstwo rzeczy bo jak dotąd gdzie nie byliśmy to trzeba bylo miec właśnie gril czy naczynia na ktorych mozna zjeść. Tutaj wszystko co niezbedne znajdziecie nawet WiFi. Naprawde polecam . Napewno kiedyś tu wrócimy. Cena tez przystępna jak na rodzinę z 2 dzieci.

Liked Friendly, relaxed, well stocked pod. Lovely owners. Hot showers. Great location. Good play area for kids badminton net, football goal etc

Disliked Pitch that I booked was supposed to be 12m x 10m. The pitch allocated was barely 4 m wide so that I could not park my vehicle alongside my tent as promised.
Main toilet block generally unclean, bins not emptied and toilet paper not replenished.

Liked Good sized pitches. Facilities were clean and tidy. Nice quiet site.

Disliked Some tight roads to get in to site but that’s Cornwall. Wouldn’t stop me returning

Instead, continue on the main road past Argle Lake up to the crossroads and turn right, this road will then lead you to the clear entrance of Menallack Farm on your left-hand side.
