Many folk who come to Cornwall seek a base for its north and south. And secluded is often an option too, given how popular the place is in the summer months. Add both those wants to splendid surroundings, a view over a grand valley, and the peace of the Cornish countryside… and you get Menallack Farm Caravan and Camping Site. The owners rightfully point out that this is a very pretty part of Cornwall – and the site's rightly pretty too, set over two scenic acres with a nature walk down its valley, through Bluebell Wood and to a stream at the valley's bottom. Firepits are available near the pitching field and in the woods. There are also showers, toilets and a washing-up area. It's only two and a half miles from here to both Trebah Gardens and Glendurgan Gardens, three miles from the nearest beach, and within easy day trip distance of most towns, resorts and attractions on the north and south Cornish coasts. A farm shop two miles away from Menallack Farm stocks a good range of local fruit and veg, free-range meat and poultry, bread, Cornish milk, butter and cream, homemade pasties, pies, cakes and quite a bit more. Beyond that, Falmouth is four miles away for supermarkets and the like.

  • The park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Breed-specific legislation (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
  • No bachelor/bachelorette parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • A cable measuring at least 10 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
  • Minimum spacing of 2 metres between pitches.
  • Guests are advised to bring a good quality flashlight with them as parts of the park are unlit.

Camping pod

Liked We stayed in the deer pod cabin and loved every bit of it. Super well equipped with a little gas stove, mini fridge, cozy sheets and a side bench to hang out on. There is even a little wild walk into the forest, it was soooo lovely. Falmouth is only a 10 Minute drive away for city shenanigans. The shared kitchen and bathrooms are clean and well equipped. In overall, value for money is tip top and if I had two more thumbs, i'd give this place four thumbs up!

Definitely recommend this site. There's lots of space, it's spotless.

Liked The brilliant facilities, friendly owners and beautiful location. The showers were excellent with plenty of hot water. There were also a washing machine, fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave and drinks machine, plus crockery available.
There's a beautiful woodland walk too.

Liked toilets were very nice and clean and the washing up area was very unexpected very very nice!! very easy to find and lovely site.

Disliked nothing

The views and location are worth the price.

Liked Great pitches, in the most stunning countryside I have seen. If you have good boots then the woodland walk is not to be missed. The Kitchen, toilets and showers were very good.

Disliked I do not have any dislikes.

Liked Generously sized pitches with both hard standing for campervan and grass area for picnics etc. Plenty of room for children to play. They were very apologetic that I hadn't been designated a pitch, but that was soon remedied.

Would definitely stay again!

Liked Lovely quiet campsite, great area, good walking, friendly owners, pitches nice and spacious. Great value for money.

Disliked Facilities were outdated and in need on modernising but speaking to the owners they were saying that this was due to be done at the end of the season for next year.

Instead, continue on the main road past Argle Lake up to the crossroads and turn right, this road will then lead you to the clear entrance of Menallack Farm on your left-hand side.
