  • Family-friendly site a kilometre from Coverack cove and harbour
  • On The Lizard Heritage Coast; 15 minutes' drive to Kennack Sands
  • Five-minute valley walk to Coverack; coastal paths nearby
Coverack Camping at Penmarth Farm is a peaceful, eco-friendly site with small, sheltered meadows above the fishing village of Coverack on the Lizard Heritage Coast. Surrounded by native plants and animals, it has access to a private five-minute valley walk to Coverack. In Coverack, there are most of the usual essential amenities, including a village shop, pub, takeaway and restaurant, as well as a harbour and a sandy beach. In the village, hire out a kayak or paddleboard to spend some time on the water if you wish. As an eco site, Coverack Camping at Penmarth Farm has many conveniently placed compost toilets and solar thermal showers. The large pitches have plenty of space, and campfires are also welcome. The farm is also a 15-minute drive from Kennack Sands and half an hour from Kynance Cove if you want to track down more beaches.

What customers say

Coverack Farm Camping offers a peaceful, eco-friendly retreat with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Visitors praise the spacious pitches, cleanliness of facilities, and convenient walking distance to Coverack beach and pubs. While some found the showers lacking in heat and the compost toilets basic, the overall experience is highly recommended for its beautiful setting and thoughtful arrangement. Liked Everything was excellent. Quiet and peaceful with great views . Showers and compost loos were good. Sam was a very friendly host, who gave us a 'laid back' impression. Will definitely like to return at some point if we're camping on the lizard.

Celtic Pod safari tent (two person)

Liked We had a lovely stay at Coverack Farm Camping. The toilets and showers were very clean, and the location is beautiful and peaceful. The wooden pod was excellent to sleep in — comfortable and cosy. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, which made the stay even better. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again.

Main Field non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch

Liked Loved the booking and self service check in. Knowing which pitch was allocated rather than feeling I was arriving unexpectedly.
The lovely warm welcome when we were greeted in person to check we’d settled. The relaxed atmosphere and facilités.
Aldo as it was quiet we weren’t told not to rush. We know that campsites have to turn things around and getting out can be a stress on the last day. So we appreciated taking our time.
Will definitely come back.

Disliked Nothing to dislike.

Liked Good pitches, nice and quiet at night

Disliked The shower block, and the walk under foot to them very uneven

From the manager: Hi Julie
In response to your review. We market our selves as a basic eco friendly, back to nature campsite in a great location just above Coverack bay with good basic facilities. If you are looking for an up market campsite with loads of facilities this is probably not the campsite for you. Re Wi Fi, we have good reception around the covered area but this does not extend around the campsite as the campsite is spread out over a large area to give campers plenty of space. We have very good 5g reception as the campsite is in site of the 5g mast. Walk under foot uneven ? We don't really get. But thank you for your review.

Celtic Pod safari tent (four person)

Liked Lovely position, felt suitably on our own. Having outside seating and a picnic bench was much appreciated. Plus a wood fire if we had arrived in time to order the wood (before 6pm)
