  • Family-friendly site a kilometre from Coverack cove and harbour
  • On The Lizard Heritage Coast; 15 minutes' drive to Kennack Sands
  • Five-minute valley walk to Coverack; coastal paths nearby
Coverack Camping at Penmarth Farm is a peaceful, eco-friendly site with small, sheltered meadows above the fishing village of Coverack on the Lizard Heritage Coast. Surrounded by native plants and animals, it has access to a private five-minute valley walk to Coverack. In Coverack, there are most of the usual essential amenities, including a village shop, pub, takeaway and restaurant, as well as a harbour and a sandy beach. In the village, hire out a kayak or paddleboard to spend some time on the water if you wish. As an eco site, Coverack Camping at Penmarth Farm has many conveniently placed compost toilets and solar thermal showers. The large pitches have plenty of space, and campfires are also welcome. The farm is also a 15-minute drive from Kennack Sands and half an hour from Kynance Cove if you want to track down more beaches.

Ben's Field primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite

Liked The peace and quiet, the plentiful showers, the recycling and chemical waste disposal.
I loved the short walk into Coverack, the Sculpture Park and a lovely sandy bay at low tide. Very easy access to the coast path.

Disliked Nothing I disliked but I didn't know that the sea views were available at a slightly higher cost which I would have paid.

Sam P. 5 reviews

Main Field powered grass and gravel campsite

Liked Our first time visiting the area - when we arrived Sam was there to greet us and advise us on the boundary of our massive pitch! We had plenty of space to pitch our side awning.

The children weren't sure about the compost loos but they soon got used to them and took an interest in all the information about how they save on water consumption. The showers were great and always ran hot. Not far to walk to top up with water.
It was handy having use of a picnic bench on our pitch.
We liked to the fact we could walk to Coverack without moving our van every time. 'Lover's walk' down to the village was steep but manageable, there is also a short walk along the road to the other end of the village.
Use of a freezer for our ice blocks was helpful.

Disliked The washing up area got a bit congested at times as there were just two sinks available.

Celtic Pod safari tent (four person)

Liked We spent four wonderful days at this campsite. It’s in a very convenient location, with everything you need within walking distance. The village is beautiful, there are a couple of lovely beaches nearby, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful.

This was my first camping experience in many years—I hadn’t stayed at a campsite since I was a child. Thanks in large part to Coverack Camping, I’m sure I’ll be returning to this kind of holiday in the future.
