At The Red Post Inn Holiday Park, handily located on the main road four miles from Bude, there's plenty to do around the locale. Take a wander around the country lanes, perhaps, fish or birdwatch at Tamar Lakes, or head over to Bude for beaches, surfing, golf and horse riding. Being only five minutes from the A39, it’s pretty straightforward to get from the site to a whole heap of attractions across Cornwall and neighbouring Devon (Padstow and Dartmoor National Park are both around an hour's drive away, for starters). If you don’t fancy the drive, there are a couple of bus stops just outside the site for journeys to Bude, Barnstaple, Exeter and Plymouth. Back at base, all is kept straightforward but comfortable. There are spacious pitches, separate men’s and ladies’ toilets and showers, a chemical waste disposal point, a launderette, and a playground to keep the kids suitably amused. A small on-site pub/clubhouse opens on Fridays (from 6pm) and Saturdays (from 7pm), serving beer, wine and spirits alongside games of darts, cards and dominoes.

Liked Very helpful and welcome to site by person in charge.
Shower and toilet block very spacious and clean. Useful kitchen area for washing pots, and also washer and dryer (£4 each per load). Site keep clean and tidy, also other users respectful and helpful.
Bus stop just 2 minute walk away.
No where to go walking in the area, no footpaths and verges wasn’t safe on main road with speed they was travelling.

Disliked Reason for 9 star is the pitches on left side of site (for bigger motor home) is next to main road, so it was a little noisy at night. Our first pitch wasn’t level and lucky it wasn’t busy so was able to move.

Liked Really nice site. Not too big . Friendly people and owners nothing was too much. Small play area for kids and large green in middle for them too play on. Showers and toilets clean. Great hot shower . Small bar open friday and Saturday on site. Great atmosphere with other people staying there. Bit of road noise but you hear that in most places. Bus stop just outside if you don't want to drive to bude. Everything from shopping to leisure centre in reach. Great base

Disliked Having to come home. WiFi not that great and you have ton pay, but most of us just use the data on out phones.

Disliked Kids park...over grown and unsafe.. children not able to use..full of stingers...wooden bridge falling apart.
Showers...dirty, cold, smelly, not cleaned,

Needs alot of TLC
Will not be returning.
Shame ...the site has a lot of potential if taken over by the right people
No actual reception place to sign in...a chap saw us on the off chance and took us to our pitch.
Never saw the owners again the whole week.

From this handily located spot, a mile from the A39 and the Devon border, you’re well placed for all manner of visits and activities. Staying in Cornwall, it’ll take you half an hour or so to drive to the Arthurian Tintagel Castle, 45 minutes to get to the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac, and an hour or so to feast on fresh seafood in the restaurants of Padstow or wander in the biomes of the Eden Project. Those with tiddlers in tow might like to cross into Devon for a day at the Big Sheep farm and amusement park.
