Back to basics farm site in a peaceful South Downs meadow
A 20-minute drive from Goodwood and half an hour from Chichester
Logs available on site; within a mile of a pub and the South Downs Way

Set at the foot of the South Downs, Spring Meadow Camping is a back to basics farm site surrounded by gorgeous West Sussex countryside. The site is located on well-maintained and level ground with views over rolling farmland, with plenty of car-free pitches and access to a designated fire and barbecue area for cooking (logs are available to buy on site). As this is a dog-free site, you also have a much lower risk of having sausages stolen… Spring Meadow Camping is roughly a mile from Graffham village centre, where there is a well-liked local pub and a village shop that also serves coffee and fresh pastries. The site is more or less a mile from the fab South Downs Way walking trail, with lots of other well-signposted footpaths available in the local area too. This is a simple site with basic amenities like portable toilets and taps where you can wash up pots and pans. There are no showers here, so you can either heat up some water and take yourself off for a wild-style wash or head to Chichester (half an hour) where there is a modern leisure centre with a swimming pool, gym and – crucially – showers…

Enter the farmyard and turn left up the track (looking towards the South Downs). Car parking area is on the right at the end of the track. No cars/motorbikes by the pitch/unit. All cars must be parked in the designated car park, which is 120 metres from the camping field.
