What customers say
Spacious pitches and a relaxed atmosphere are frequently praised, contributing to a lovely mix of guest types. The on-site pizza and coffee trucks are popular additions, alongside the well-appointed washing facilities and fire pits provided at each pitch. Guests highlight the beautiful countryside location, ideal for walking, with a good local pub a short distance away. While generally clean, some mention the distance of facilities and bins, alongside occasional aircraft noise.

Great campsite a short drive (20 min) from Haywards Heath for supplies
Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Welcome on arrival, plenty of pitch space, beautiful, quiet surroundings, clean facilities & fire pit provided for every pitch. The Sloop Inn is a short walk away and was an excellent place to go for Harvey’s on tap and a delicious dinner.

Disliked Showers/toilets were a very long way from where we stayed.

Good site, would come back with the kids
Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked Good facilities, showers were hot, toilets were cleaned twice a day, manager came round to make sure we were all good and to offer packs of fire wood. There were nets and swings for kids to play with, site was clean and tidy and there was a pizza van on the first night and a coffee van the next morning.
Disliked A camp in the corner played loud music until about 1 am(there is a sign saying quiet hours from 10pm until 7 am), showers could've done with a bit more pressure.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked - spacious pitch size which enabled us to pitch with friends without feeling like we were on top of the pitches around us.
- the site as a whole didn't feel over-crowded, lovely mix of group types; families with small children, multi-generational families, friends - gave a really lovely atmosphere.
- the pizza and coffee trucks were great, we'd never stayed anywhere with these before.
- friendly and visible owners.
- loved listening to the nearby sheep and the puff of the Bluebell Railway.
- Very well appointed sinks/washing up areas, loved that there were food waste boxes available.
- clean toilet and shower blocks, hot water times clearly shown, lots of hot water for washing.
Disliked No recycling facilities, site users were encouraged to take their recycling home - I can understand why this was.
