This is a beautiful, clean campsite with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Pitches are well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with fire pits and benches. Facilities, including toilets and showers, are consistently praised for their cleanliness. Many guests highlight the enjoyable activities, particularly water sports and the wellness centre. Too expensive and a bit of a rip off
Fully-serviced gravel motorhome pitch
Liked The campsite was good with a hookup and water and a good size
Disliked Was told couldn’t bring food/drinks then find out we could because we were camping ( this was not made clear till we ARRIVED) but the local supermarket is tiny so was always out of stock so we couldn’t buy what we needed, also place was a lot smaller than we thought and with the ‘beach’ fully booked it was too hot to sit on the campsite only. The activities are too expensive for a family of 3 and we did archery but I’m sorry the price you pay for what you get it LUDICROUS for what was 20 minutes and to be told we were lucky the other couple were late or we wouldn’t have had as many shots WOW just WOW. We will not be back ( £29.50 to sit on a bit of builders sand with no food or drink but you get a lounger is a joke !)

Great place to stay, the wellness centre is gorgeous.

Liked Great facilities, clean, friendly.
Disliked I know the security is necessary (I think lots of young people try to get in without tickets). But I felt a little over kill at times.

From the manager: Thank you! As a busy venue in Kent, safety for both our guests and staff is always our top priority. We would never compromise on anyone’s safety, including that of our lifeguards, which is why we maintain staffing ratios above the standard requirement. We appreciate that this may sometimes feel excessive, but these measures are in place to ensure everyone can enjoy the experience safely and with peace of mind.
We go to this site so I can see my Grandchildren who live near.

Liked Beautiful site for putting campervans and car tentbox.
Always kept clean and tidy. Same is said about toilets and shower very refreshing to go into.
Staff are very helpful and pleasant very year we have been going.
Disliked The steps that you go to get done to the toilet and dish washing facilities doesn't have a grab rail or rope to hang onto.
They have no WIFI this year.

What a shame on them
Fully-serviced gravel motorhome pitch
Liked I can only give few stars now… as only found out today that the motorhome/camping bit is no longer available???? What on earth? It has been such fun and a good getaway after busy week. Been there many times over the years, And now just stopped without any notice! Kids and us loved it, outdoors all weekend, paddle boarding, aqua park, zip line etc…

A lovely location, they just need to do better.

Liked The view
The lake
Disliked Sharing one shower between all the camping guests.
The prices of the activities.
The prices of the food and drinks.
The fact that when you stay as a camping guest (only 8 pitches) you don’t get automatic use of the beach and lake.
Everything is extra.

From the manager: Hi Kevin, thank you for your feedback.
We’re sorry to hear that aspects of your stay didn’t meet your expectations.
Just to clarify for future guests, our camping pitch rate is £35 per night, which includes your pitch, water, electricity, and access to the kitchen and bathroom facilities. Our camping accommodation does not include activity access, as our beach, lake, and activities operate separately from overnight stays, and this is clearly outlined at the time of booking.
As for food, drinks, and activities, these are priced separately in line with the experience and facilities we provide. We understand that value is subjective, but we always aim to be transparent with our pricing so guests can make an informed choice before booking.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the shower facilities and will take that on board.
