  • A 10-minute walk from Smarden village's pubs and art gallery
  • Private hot tub and firepit at each tent; wild swimming on the farm
Daisy's Meadow Retreat might have you asking, 'What doesn’t it have?' Each adults-only bell tent is set in its own five-acre meadow in the peaceful Kent countryside, with its own five-acre meadow, hot tub and firepit. Not only that, but there’s a wild swimming pond and a woodland walk on the farm, and just in case you’re missing your pilates routine, a qualified pilates instructor is available to run sessions for an additional fee. The basics first: the bell tents are completely off-grid, accessible through two fields (or by car if the conditions allow). Views over the countryside are a given; the site is about halfway between the High Weald and the Kent Downs, on a farm of about 100 acres (including 30 acres of ancient woodland and the wild water swimming pond where you’ll most likely spend some time). It’s a comfortable stay at each bell tent, with a woodburning stove, cosy bedding, bean bags and basic camping supplies including a gas stove, kettle and kitchen equipment. Outside is a Scandinavian-style woodfired hot tub (surely your go-to stargazing spot), firepit, reclining sunloungers and a separate tent with an eco toilet and standing water pipes. All logs are complimentary. From Daisy's Meadow Retreat, it’s a 10-minute walk across the fields to the local village of Smarden, where there are two pubs, a community shop and an art gallery. If you don’t fancy prepping every single meal or walking over there, breakfast or barbecue packs can be ordered from the site for an additional fee.

Liked Daisy has created an absolutely wonderful retreat, everything was carefully taken care of, and we had such a beautiful stay. The hot tub in the sunset was magical, had a morning swim in the pond and the private setting was an added extra nice surprise. Looking forward to following you Daisy and watch as you thrive in your new adventure as a glamping host - you're a fantastic host. Will see you again soon, we hope. Xxx

Bell tent

Liked I stayed at Daisys meadow retreat last weekend and all I can say is wow, we had the weather on our side, both dogs loved the 5 acres of land to roam around freely, the yurt was beautifully decorated with the most amazing comfortable bed, we were even supplied our own bath robes and towels to use for the wood fire hot tub which amazing to use, especially in the evening when the stars started to come out. Daisy was an amazing host, nothing was too much to ask, she made us feel very welcome and left us to our own devices but was only a text or call away if we needed anything. It was just so peaceful to be out with nature. The log burner in the evening when curled up in bed was a dream too, felt so cozy. I would highly recommend staying here as for sure my partner, doggies and I will return again

Xx

Bell tent

Liked Wow—what an incredible stay. The whole place was immaculate, the owners were so friendly and welcoming; they genuinely could not do enough for us! The hot tub was the perfect finishing touch, clean and ready to use on arrival. Being able to bring our dog made it even better. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, with some of the most stunning views we’ve ever experienced. It was the perfect place to switch off. Peaceful, relaxing, and truly unforgettable. We left already planning our next visit!!! Could not recommend this place enough!
When you stay here you definitely wont be disappointe!
