Yeoman shepherd's hut
Liked: Myself and my 12 year old son absolutely loved our stay over the last few days, especially with the added bonus of visiting the family horses and chickens each day! What a lovely setting and an ideal local location for walking into Bedgebury Forest and driving down to Hastings for the day. Being able to book just a couple of nights was perfect. Especially coming on my own for the first time. All of the facilities were clean and perfectly located. We stayed in the Shepherds Hut which was beautiful inside and out. We will be returning !!

Little Yeo bell tent
Liked: The hospitality was first class. You turn up and welcomed with a fresh bottle of apple juice and a home made victory sponge cake 🎂 in your tent 🏕️. Also anything you need like charcoal which we run out of was supplied. All you had to do was ask the host. Nothing was to much.

Little Yeo bell tent
Liked: Really enjoyed our stay, the tent was very pretty inside and out, decorated with fairy lights and subtle lighting inside. The tent was warm and cosy, and comfortable bed. We were provided with all the utensils we needed in the outdoor kitchen, and a good sized bbq. The firepit was lovely and we were given plenty of wood. The host left tea, coffee, sugar and a delicious homemade Victoria sponge cake. The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate. Location was excellent with private access to bedgebury forest. Can't comment on WiFi as turned phone off..bliss!

Yorrick bell tent
Liked: The Yorrick Bell tent was a good size for our family - we had room to comfortably spread out, sit and read, tables inside and out for meals etc. The tent is water tight - don't let a rainy forecast put you off! We had a wet and sometimes windy 3 day stay, but all good. Loved that we were camping in Helen's backyard surrounded by forest as opposed to a big impersonal campsite. Rabbits, squirrels and bird song. Lovely night skies A BBQ, firepit and gas camp stove were provided - lots of options for outdoor cooking fun - the kids loved trying these. Great location with so much to do in the area - Go Ape, cycling through the forest, Sissinghurst Garden, Scotney Castle, farmshops with fresh plump cherries and apple juice! Helen was a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
Disliked: Although it's glamping and comfortable, it's still good to pack for camping - pack a torch, easy to put on shoes to walk across the wet grass to the bathroom/small fridge, storage box for your food, eye mask if you stay during the summer and want to sleep in. You will hear the traffic on the A21, but it won't keep you wake.

Little Yeo bell tent
Liked: To say we liked everything is not a lie! From the moment we arrived Helen was exceptional. She is a very kind and generous host. The whole glampsite reflects her personality. Due to extremely poor weather Helen upgraded us from the tent to the hut. We loved the hut which was perfect for our short stay but the bell tents would've been just as good. The firepit was ready for our use. Clean shower and toilets. Perfect place for those who love nature. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway in nature then I highly recommend Helen's place. Only an hour and half drive from the city of London. We will definitely return. Thank you.
Disliked: Nothing.
