Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Increadibly spacious pitches. Only few tents on a massive field. Lots of space for children to run around. The barn is fantastic! Sinks with hot water, fridge, microwave and a kettle. Lots of games for kids too. Toilets kept clean and as pleasant as can be for a compost toilet. The biggest appeal is the small number of campers allowed at a given time. No dogs and party groups. Absolutely brilliant for families! The owners were incredibly helpful and cleaned the facilities daily.
Disliked: The field must have been used for grazing and the animal droppings were not cleared away. The price for a small bucket of logs was a bit steep.

Liked: We loved that there are beautiful walks right from the camp site to the town. We loved our kitty cat visiting us We loved the soft grass. The compost toilet (...I was dreading) was clean and pretty! The barn for rainy days has everything you need!
