Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Beautiful, peaceful surroundings, with visits from deer in the evenings. Spacious pitches in easy reach of the facilities. The shower and loo block has been upgraded this year providing lovely hot showers. Plenty of local attractions to visit - I enjoyed Penshurst Place this time - and the Deer Park Cafe was open all weekend. I had a fantastic breakfast on the Sunday morning. I loved my camp!

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: I stayed at multiple campsites in my bikepacking trip, and this was easily the best one, by a country mile. The facilities were very good, and the site itself was peaceful, relaxing and well set out. It’s a beautiful spot. The fact there was a cafe on site for a morning coffee, was an added bonus. Great value for money, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Disliked: Nothing

Great Robbins Shaw non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Big pitches with plenty of space between, well marked out and mowed. Water point close to each pitch. Serene surroundings. Onsite shop with necessary items. Onsite restaurant with great food including cakes! Clean toilet and shower facilties. Friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: Only one toilet and shower per sex (plus disabled) on such a large site meant that earlgt morning there were queues. More units would alleviate this cross-legged frustration!

Liked: Lovely setting Roomy pitches Friendly team Great cafe
Disliked: So few toilets, around 80 people with a number of children meant queuing for the three toilets on occasion. They were also showers so the mornings got busy. When a 5 year old needs to go she needs to go.
