  • Adults-only Kent countryside site with a friendly atmosphere
  • Dog-friendly site with fenced-off exercise area
  • Immaculately maintained heated amenities block
'Top of the range', 'luxurious' and 'immaculate' are a few of the accolades heaped upon the amenities at adults-only Still Acres Touring and Camping Park by grateful guests: if an essential part of your hol is sparkling and modern essentials, you'll be well set up here. But there's more. Partly because the owners of this warm and friendly family-run site in the midst of Kent know their stuff (including having a fully certified caravan repair and service technician on site to help out with problems) and partly because of the site's setting: Still Acres is just outside Wealden village, with easy access to Kent's beaches, castles and many historic houses – if you're happy to go a bit further you could even venture to la belle France (Dover is a little over an hour's drive away). The site is on 28 acres of scenic and flat grassland with two acres set aside for guests; dogs are most welcome too and have a two-acre fenced off area for off-lead frolics (with water to keep them cool and benches for their owners to have a rest on). You're very welcome to take walks (with or without a dog) around the rest of the site as well (dogs must be kept on leads and mess picked up). And as for the accoladed amenities? The shower block on site is centrally heated, with disabled toilets and powerful showers and hand dryers – and all is immaculately maintained by the Still Acres team.

What customers say

This adults-only campsite is highly praised for its exceptional cleanliness, particularly the modern and immaculate shower/toilet facilities, often described as the best guests have encountered. Reviewers highlight the spacious, level pitches, friendly and welcoming hosts, and the secure, well-maintained grounds. The dedicated off-lead dog park is a significant bonus for pet owners. While a few minor points like the lack of an on-site shop or nearby pubs are noted, overall feedback is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests expressing a strong desire to return.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Everything greeted with a warm and friendly welcome pitch was spacious, toilets and shower spotless and nicely decorated. Very peaceful and relaxing. Would of like to stay longer.
The whole site is very clean and tidy, liked you could come and go as you pleased with no time restrictions.
Plenty of dog pooh bins which were empty and clean. This is one of those little gem campsites that you don’t come across very often we will be returning and would recommend others do to.

Local attractions

Still Acres Touring and Camping Park is most niftily located in a central position to some of the most popular Kent attractions, gardens and beaches, so pack a picnic and set off for the day to see what you can see. Castle fans (everyone should be a castle fan) have a few famed attractions in the area to pick from: the Still Acres team reckons that Leeds Castle, with 500 acres of parkland and formal gardens, daily activities and free flying falconry displays, is one of the best days out in Kent. You could/should also get along to Chiddingstone Castle, set in 35 acres of grounds including a lake, rose garden and woodland, and with the collections of Denys Eyre Bower who owned and lived at Chiddingstone between 1956 and 1977. Dover Castle, set above the famed white cliffs, and Tonbridge Castle, dating back to the eleventh century, are also popular castley Kent picks. More old buildings? See also Georgian Belmont House and Gardens in Throwley, near Faversham, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Canterbury Cathedral, St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church.
