  • Pop-up vineyard site four miles from Dover’s port and white cliffs
  • A 10-minute drive from Dover Castle; 25 minutes from a wildlife park
  • Barbecues and firepits permitted; pubs and shops a short walk away
Wind down a little at a peaceful pop-up site four miles from Dover’s port and white cliffs… Temple Ewell is part of a scenic two-acre vineyard where well-behaved dogs are welcome. The level-grounded pitches are in a sea-level, friendly village, just 10 minutes’ drive away from the centre of Dover and 15 minutes from the port. As a pop-up site, there are fairly basic facilities, including standalone toilets in a field and a large freshwater container. The pitches are pretty spacious, so you’ll be able to spread out your kit and get a barbecue or firepit on the go, as they’re both permitted on site. It’s a peaceful patch – and when you’re not preoccupied with the nice views on site, the surrounding village has pubs, restaurants and shops a short walk away from the site so that you won’t have to look far for a meal out. There’s car parking on the grounds as you arrive on site but guests should note that the railway bridge on the way has a weight limit of five tonnes. Those of you without a car will still be well-connected here, as there are local buses that serve the area. Of course, the ferries from Dover will take you across the channel too.
