  • Cosy dog-friendly shepherd’s hut in in a small, private Kent woodland
  • A 15-minute drive from Canterbury and 20 minutes from the Kent coast
  • Hot tub, outdoor kitchen and outdoor seating area; farm shops nearby
Keen to be hooked up with a cosy glamping getaway in lovely Kent? Sure thing. Lime Kiln Woods is a small, private Kent woodland with a single shepherd’s hut. In this securely gated area, you’ve got all the time in the world to unwind, which won’t be at all hard once you get a look at the set-up… For one thing, the hut has its very own hot tub for guests to soak in. Two, look forward to unleashing your inner chef in the outdoor kitchen using the fresh, local ingredients available in the area and later dining alfresco under the starlit sky. Handily, there are farm shops 10 minutes’ drive of the woodland (and note that there’s also a pub 25 minutes’ walk away). This glamping getaway in Bossingham is just as great indoors as it is outdoors. Comfortably designed for a family of four, the hut has luxury touches throughout, and of course, there’s the lovely soundtrack and scenery of the peaceful woodland at all times. The hut is dog-friendly, so bring along your little fur companion. If you’ve been eyeing up visiting Canterbury, this is your chance, as Canterbury and its cathedral are just 15 minutes’ drive away.

Shepherd's hut

Liked: This place is a perfect getaway escape, to immerse yourself in nature and spend quality time together. Driving into the site, it felt like you have entered a secret oasis emersed in a small mature woodland. The site has all the facilities to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. We felt spoilt with all the space and facilities available for our exclusive use. Having the hot tub, pizza oven, bbq and fire pits all added to our lovely experience here. Would highly recommend this place.

Shepherd's hut

Liked: This is the ultimate relaxing get away. I couldn't recommend this place any more if I tried. I stayed with my girlfriend for a birthday celebration and we just didn't want to leave. Everything has been thought of with the set up of this place. You are really in a remote lovely picturesque part of the south downs. The wood powered hot tub with the views out to the quarry were amazing in the morning, midday or night. The outside seating and cooking area had everything we needed. The shepherds hut it self was cosy and comfortable. We are already planning our next stay here for even longer. Everyone should stay here to experience this place. Would be a great place to stay with the kids and explore around the woods and lanes. This has everything for what ever type of stay you want. A+++++

Disliked: absolutely nothing
