Liked Open plan easy going field with amenities

Liked Amazing site and amazing family, we had a peaceful stay at Knowler farm,
The toilets and showers lovely and clean, and a lovely Cafe spot on food was great , thank you again for a wonderful stay and we will be coming again. 💯👏

Liked Nice peaceful location, the owner came round in the morning and evenings to check everything was OK, and gave useful advice about places to visit and the park and ride service into Canterbury . Could pitch where you liked and plenty of space.

Liked Great facilities, welcoming, coffee and breakfast available on site. Pub and shop v short walk, nice area to explore.. And happy to accommodate motorbikes

From the manager: We are very happy to accomodate mosts modes of transport, feet, bikes, motorebikes, horse drawn carriages, cars, motor homes, caravans, we've even had a hellicopter and a hot air balloon landing here!!
Glad you had some good weather though.
Come again when you're on you're way to Europe perhaps, for your next father and sons bike trip.

Liked Location was great for meeting up with friends. Received a lovely welcome and was able to chose whereabouts we settled in the camping field. No shortage of space for our camper van and awning. Had much welcome shade! Sheenagh and Wayne who run the site are very friendly and helpful. They were happy for us to leave later than stated so our awning dried off before packing. It is a rustic site with some lovely flowers. Toilets were kept very clean.

Good location for dog walks from site.

It would be great if the toilets had hot water for handwashing and if the shower was warmer … although with the heat wave cool showers were fine.

Disliked I think £3 a night per dog is a lot as nothing is provided for dogs, although obviously we knew this before we booked.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. The hot water is something we are working on for the washing up area but as yet we havent managed a viable solution. We can up and down the temps in the showers as required., you only need to ask Wayne, thats what he's here for. During the recent very hot spell he turned the heat down by popular request. The sun strength alters the solar too. Never be afraid to ask we are always on hand to sort out anything but unless we know at the time we can't sort it. The charge for the dogs is a pretty standard as I understand but we will certainly look at the comparrisons and alter it if neccesary. Thank you for all your comments. Glad you found it clean and friendly and we never want you to rush off after you've just spent the weekend unwinding and relaxing :)
