What customers say
This is a highly recommended campsite with spacious, clean pitches and excellent facilities. Owners Alan and Kim are consistently praised for their exceptional friendliness, attentiveness, and willingness to go above and beyond for guests. Highlights include the unique experience of hearing lions roar from the nearby sanctuary and watching aircraft from Headcorn Aerodrome. While some guests noted noise from a nearby train line and road, most found it unobtrusive or even enjoyable. The site is considered very family-friendly and a great base for exploring Kent.

Excellent host, thoughtful and attentive
Electric optional grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked The campsite was lovely, hearing the lions was so gorgeous and something myself and my daughter looked forward to each day. Even though there was a large group booked in Alan made time for myself and my daughter checking in we were ok and providing us with a parasol (without us requesting) due to the lack of shade and extremely hot temperatures which was difficult for us and our 2 dogs.
Disliked Nothing.

Best camping site I’ve ever been to.
Bell tent (four person)
Liked Alan and his team were top notch from the moment we arrived.
The pizzas were amazing.
The bell tent was a decent size and clean.
The toilets and showers are spot on and the other facilities are very good too.
This was by far the best camping site I’ve been too. My two boys also said the same thing.
The lions roaring and watching people over the tree lines skydiving was just an added bonus.

Yurt
Liked Everything. Alan and his wife are the most accommodating hosts and nothing is too much trouble. This was our second year in the yurt and we have already booked for next year. Such a clean and tidy camp and everyone is friendly.
