Liked We stayed here on Saturday and absolutely loved it! The scenery is stunning and the setting is so peaceful. We were greeted by friendly chickens and ducks wandering around, which was such a lovely touch — the owners even kindly gave us a couple of fresh eggs for our dinner, which was a real treat. The facilities are spotless and well maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. A wonderful spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy the countryside — we’ll definitely be coming back!

A hidden gem!
Toby electric grass pitch
Liked Everything!! What an absolute gem this campsite is. It’s small, friendly and very well maintained. Each pitch looks over the pretty field which comes alive with twinkly lights at night. The firepits on your pitch are wonderful and the showers are reminiscent of those in the African bush - a delight!!
Thank you to the chickens for our breakfast eggs and huge thanks to Karen and Richard for being such wonderful hosts. See you again soon!!

Toby electric grass pitch
Liked Everything!! It is tucked away and a beautiful quiet spot. Being adults only was brilliant as it was summer holidays. The pitches were big, with electric and water on our pitch. Showers and toilets were always clean, lovely hot shower and hot water for washing pots. The hosts were really welcoming and super friendly! And the icing on the cake were the great games at the site! Petang, badminton, Jenga, connect 4, we played almost all of them and there was a lovely communal seating area too. Such a fantastic site and couldn't recommend it more! We will definitely be back, even if it is 4 hours away!!
Disliked Absolutely nothing! It was brilliant!

Fabulous little site - designed with a lot of thought and care
Toby electric grass pitch
Liked Really great site - adults only and small so very peaceful but also very dog friendly. Facilities were spotless but the little touches like the fairy lights, games and sitting area were what made it a cut above the norm. Log burners on each pitch were a plus. Hosts were very friendly and relaxed.
Disliked Disliked some of the negative remarks left by other reviewers - if you can’t be happy here then probably best you don’t go camping!

From the manager: Thank you for leaving a lovely review.
The chickens and ducks used to roam free but became a bit too friendly and would take peoples food. We will be extending the duck area very soon.

Liked Small, secure, quite intimate site. Owners are friendly and live on site. Good pitches, nice facilities kept clean by owners. Lovely area, nearby villages & towns worth visiting. Good pubs, restaurants nearby
Disliked The only reason for the score of 8 is the proximity of the A28 and the adjacent lane that runs very close to the site.

A very lovely site.

Liked A very nice small campsite - adults only so mostly quiet. I loved the showers which are open at the top and bottom so you feel closer to nature. The owners are helpful and welcoming. Effective WiFi. Good pubs nearby.
Disliked Not a complaint but the pitches are rather too close together. Could do with a loo which doesn’t have a shower inside so you don’t have to wait for someone to finish their shower before you can “go”.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Our pitches are approx.10m wide x 8m deep which is larger than the required size for a site, I'm sorry that you found this inadequate. We will consider the extra separate loo. Thanks.
